Hmm I watched the Peter fight the other night (repeat)Vitali didn't look quite as fast/ mobile as Wlad but he bossed the centre of the ring just using his size and strength of punch.
The size thing still worried me for Haye and Vitali seems the one with the steelier resolve and stronger will.
Wlads can be broken, i'm sure the memory of the KO's stay with you but it seems like they have made the adjustments in tactics and they've paid off

Mido on his day is **** hot. im a spurs fan and was a bit gutted when he went, if he stays fit he is a 15-20 goal man. but he wont be at wigan beyond the summer.

Berbatov is pure class, but a total prat.

by the way am i winning the fantasy league by about 1 million points?

Wladimir has promised to silence Haye. “He has a very big mouth, but I will make him say less, then he won’t claim that he’s better than me. Many who get into the ring with me say that they’ll knock me out, but the end result is they lose.”
we asked Wladimir about a propsed fight against Chris Arreola on May 16th in Los Angeles.
“The contract on the fight with David Haye is not signed yet,” he said. “If the fight with Haye breaks down, the next opponent will be Chris Arreola,” said Wladimir.

I can't see Wlad using the right hand early, he'll go for safety first. Hayes speed will ensure that. If he won't open up against Rahman (until he has softened him up), he's not doing it against Haye.

Putting thoughts of a quick KO to one side for the moment, I wonder what would happen if Wlads jab didn't do the job it has done in the past i.e. Haye deals with it some of the time, and it doesn't take the starch out of him. Would Wlad start to crumble a wee bit mentally?

We probably won't see that happen, but would be interesting none the less.

    Heart says Haye by KO4

Head says................well, we're not listening to the head these days.

The crux of this fight is Haye getting past the jab.

Haye and Booth are far from stupid, I'm sure they will be preparing a plan to get by the jab, and I think if you can do that Wlad will be in deep water.

I couldn't call the fight though, there's every chance Haye will wobble from the first jabs that land and will be dismantled over the course of 5-6 rounds.

I just hope he executes a plan to get close to Wlad and if he can land when he gets there, it's game on.

Apparently if the Haye Wlad fight isn't made then David could face James Toney!! in the summer

 My heart says exactly the same as you, I don't want to listen to my head in this fight because it doesnt end well for Haye.

I honestly have no doubt that Hayes power will cause Wlad all sorts of problems......IF he can land.

I'm just so hyped up for this fight.....Hayematrix is brilliant for this division :happy

Haye can win but he must win early. Wlad has a good (lewis-like pawing) jab, plus he'll have a 2 stone weight advantage, if the fight drags on then Haye has no chance in the weakest Heavyweight division in history .. I cant get excited over a charade like this. Can anybody imagine a guy like Haye taking on a Frazier or a Holmes or even a prime Holyfield ?? The Heavyweight division is a joke in respect to the Klitschkos and Haye making big noises
