I try, their are alot of Klit haters on the come-up, I got to continue to find ways to be one step ahead of the competition.:yep
IT COULD be a short heavyweight run for haye. on the other hand he will be the man if he koes vlad in impressive fashion
Great news. 20foot very good. I hate big guys in small rings. I want to see some good movements in a boxing match. Go Wlad :happy:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy:happy
Can't see how Haye has a chance. Wladimir is going to be hard to catch up to under these circumstances and he's going to hold if Haye gets within shouting range of him . Could be a boring fight if Haye isn't dumb enough to just follow Wladimir around eating jabs all night. Which if he does that, he will be Ko'ed.
I agree here - it's understandable when past prime champs like Holy or Lewis fight every 6 months but fighters on top of their game should fight every 3/4 months. This long lay offs hurt boxing and make the sport a lot less attractive.
its gotta be in june because they want it in a football stadium and the season doesnt finish until late may and the weather in london needs to be warm. i think bigger ring suits haye, his footwork is world class.
a 20 x 20 foot ring is STANDARD. 22 x 22 or 25 x 25 is a large ring, and the 16 x 16 is the smallest ring.
I am really happy this is in the o2. It really is a world class arena, which should sell out its 20,000 capacity, and the atmosphere will be electric. I dont think Stamford bridge would have sold out, and the atmosphere would have been poor.
Yeah, I made a thread about this in the Brit forum, it really is a make or break year, particularly now JC has retired. Our top 2 fighters have their superfights, but if they lose them, thery have nowhere to go but down. In all probablilty, Hatton and Haye get stopped, and their careers grind to a halt, or at least wind downwards. However, I have a good feeling one of them will pull out a win.:yep
