Nobody in the division is going to KO Valuev. His head roll is too good to be hit square, and although both Klitschkos outclass him and UD him, he'd be a game opponent for either, and his power might even be enough to keep Wlad off of him enough to make it interesting ie Peter.

Haye never wanted the fight, that's why he has dissapeared the last 2 monthes. Now he can fight the great Audley Harrison. He talked **** and then ran off like a coward with his tail between his legs.

Unfortunately true. Even fighters that aren't from the US, but fight out of it...not many left that one of the brothers hasn't already beaten.

Adamek fights out of NJ, but I don't think he would accept Wladimir yet
Samuel Peter is a possibility I suppose. Thompson and Chambers have already been beaten, and it's too early for any rematch, same with Arreola.

There's Solis but I don't know if he would accept, or even if he would be a draw in the US...my guess is no.

Further down the list you have a few fighters such as Jason Estrada, Fres Oquendo, Michael Grant, Guinn, etc... but I can't see any of them being a draw for a US fight.

Toney might be a draw because of his mouth....

I saw Peters on the Pavlik/Espino undercard. Have they stepped him up since then? I wonder what his time table is? I'd assume he plans on being back in contention if he has continued to fight because there can't be much money in the undercard fights he has had....

Peter & Toney (because of his mouth and the fact that I'd like to see him get punched in it), are really the only US options I see.

I saw Peters last fight (or second to last maybe) a few months ago, and the crowd looked like it had about 15 people in it. As you said, he couldn't be making much money on those fights.

Interestingly, although Peter was a lot lighter than he has been, he seemed SLOWER to me with his punches. Perhaps he was just trying to get some "sparring" in, knowing the other guy wasn't a danger, I'm not sure. But whatever the case was, he looked SLOW, and wasn't really throwing a lot.

Good fight, Wlad once again taking on a top opponent. Disappointed in Haye if he truly turned down a good offer, I have to say I haven't been following the whole fiasco, I'll be pissed if he takes on Audley though. Just a money fight, doing nothing for his legacy.

So what time will it start over in Germany? Won't it be like 3am to suit for the Yanks? Will it still do anywhere near 65k at that time in the morning?

no. Germany is 9 hours ahead of the US(west coast..6 hours ahead of east coast)... so a fight at 11pm is 2 pm in LA. HBO usually shows it live at 2pm (west coast) 5pm (east coast) then they show a re-play at 11pm on both coasts

That's exactly my point....there just aren't any good talented US fighters that at least one of the Klitschkos haven't already beaten.

Perhaps Shannon Briggs could get his money and his beating. Just throwing another name out for a U.S. showcase.
