I've read on several sites that Haye vs Wlad will be shown on HBO...but will it only be shown live, or will it be aired again in the evening? I'll be traveling pretty much all day on July 2 (unfortunately), so if the fight is live (probably 3:00ish PM central time in the U.S.) I'll undoubtedly miss it. If HBO shows it again in the evening, I can leave early enough to get to my destination by 8:00 or 9:00 PM to watch the replay.

    Anyone?

I think I read it will be shown live in the afternoon US time and then a tape replay at night 9/10pm EST same day.

Surely it's a PPV thought right ? I'd be shocked as hell if not.

Wow I am surprised they didn't go PPV really, everything is PPV these days. I don't have HBO but I always add it for big fights so I'll pick that up for 20 bucks a month, beats the hell outta 50+tax for the PPV card.

Wonder what they undercards if any they will show.
Maybe Butterbean vs. Audley or something would be a nice view pre-fight.

I heard they were having a return party for Rahman & Butterbean on the same card, so I was kinda hoping it was PPV. I'd buy it at 2 p.m and would have been drunk since 8 am. That's just me personally though...don't know about you guys ? :huh

Not sure why HBO went with a big Holiday weekend in the US either a lot of people will be traveling and not have access to HBO. June 25th would have been better. That will for sure hurt the ratings. This is a big fight and should have got better promotion from HBO for sure.

Free on HBO in the day time? Odd, but sounds damn good. I was hoping for the chance at a slim chance at a 24/7 series. This fight would be awesome for it, and could help garner US attention for it.

Happy at least it's not a PPV.

I hear a lot of people saying people in the states dont even know who haye or wlad is. Well maybe I just run in weird circles because there is a lot of buzz for this fight. I wont miss it!
