Thought I was the only one who noticed those eyes. Classic. Dude should invest in a pair of sunglasses
Hey Chef, was just wondering if could tell us what Haye was saying during the stare down. It didn't come over in the vid of the weigh in.
Just a quick stupid observation of their arms. The way Haye has his wrist bent and forearm turned inside allows for more of an egg shape at the top rather then the way Wlad has his wrist which are basically straight with his forearm so you can see some of his palm. So Wlads arms could have look more cut. And of course I know Wlad is supposed to have the bigger arms since he out weighs Haye by 30lbs. And that this is not a body building comp, but a boxing match.
Every fighter feels adrenaline. You can call it fear, anger, or whatever, but it's that fight or flight mechanism which allows fighters to fight hard for 12 rounds and get stronger. What matters here is who gets hit first. Whoever lands first will probably finish the fight.
Anyone from the UK watching Sky Sports News? Malignaggi has just given a very good unbiased opinion on the bout.
What did he say? If anyone who knows what its like when two big punchers collide its Mal. Seriously though what did he say?
He said he has Wlad as the slight favourite, he's the bigger, heavier guy, and the better of the two technically. He said Haye brings with him good athleticism. Both have power, and both have shown weakness around the whiskers. Wlad has become somewhat reliant on jabbing his opponents, and his opponents just being there. Haye will try to roll the jab and come back with something big. If Haye can do this, Wlad will have to adapt and open up his arsenal...he also said this might catch Wlad off guard. I can't remember what else he said, and this isn't word for word. But he said this in front of a room full of drunken people who are looking for a Haye victory. I know many of these points are routinely mentioned on this forum, but it was one unbiased opinion out of many drunken biased opinions. :good
I just watched Vitalis interview,he is horrified that Haye came in at 15 and a bit stones he expected Haye to turn up overweight and out of condition like most Klit opponents. Boarding the plane tomorrow for Hamburg and cannot ****ing wait.
