Took Prime Wlad 12 rounds to knock out Chambers... Stick Chambers in with Lewis, Foreman or Tyson. He's not lasting 3 rounds.
Wlad does hit hard but he's more interested in hugging than throwing punches, whereas Tyson actually went out to destroy guys with his fists, as your supposed to in boxing.
Yep, he also went the distance with blown up super middleweight Byrd, who Ibeabuchi took out in 5. Now part of this is down to his boring, anti-boxing style but real fighters with real power, like Lewis, Foreman or Tyson, go out there and destroy over matched guys like Bryd and Chambers
if wlads not going to try and land, but runs and wrestles and hides instead, then its irrelevant if his power is more.
Yeah, Lewis doesn't belong there. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRPzFBcTYro http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ysBrm5rB72o http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A7gRqx-7XZQ
Wlad probably does hit as hard or harder than Mike Tyson, but he's not throwing as many shots or combinations of shots and Tyson was faster so he probably landed more and did more damage in a round.
for accuracy sake I would say that Byrd wasn't blown up till their second fight, he was very illusive in the first one but Wlad dominated him...once Bryd became a blown up SMW or Cruiser or whatever, Wlad almost took his head off... I'm not sure Byrd won more than 2 rounds between the two fights and was KO'd hard in the second
tyson is and was a bad ass mofo and is my fav heavyweight fighter of all time!! but i think theres a lot of hype with tyson regarding him hitting the hardest.. if u look at a lot of tyson's opponents they lost the fight already before the fight even started so it makes tyson seem like he was a bad ass dude who has unreal power, when in reality his power is no difference from the next heavyweight.. dont get me wrong one punch from tyson will lay my azz out lol but to say tyson is the hardest hitting heavyweight is saying to much.. If anything I'd say Tyson's power gets underrated nowadays. He was a phenomenal puncher. It's one of the main reasons so many people fell in love with him in the first place, became fanboys, overrated the hell out of him and now receive the backlash of the boxing community. To those wou say Wlad could possibly be the hardest puncher to ever lace them up. Sorry, there's very little in the way of hard evidence to back this up. Wlad's had numerous fights where he was hitting guys flush on the chin with his right hand over and over again (1st Peter fight, 2nd Brester fight, Thompson fight) and either stopped them on accumulation, or by catching them right on the button. His one punch power is pretty overrated IMO
Ray Austin would beg to differ, I think Wlad's one punch power is jast as good if not better than anyone in the game. the difference is when mike would catch someone with a big punch he would follow it up with 2 3 or 4 more and get the KO at that point. Wlad's KO's come from a jab and a straight right (Austin ate the left) but you look at Brock, Thompson, Castillo, Byrd (1st KD was thunderous). There are more but I don't have time to go all the way back. Tyson hit you hard numerous times, Wlad gets you out of there with one punch
Wlad's power is overrated. Leapai kept getting up after being knocked down, and so did Povetkin. It's not one punch KO power when the other guy keeps getting up.
it has occurred to me that the thread has a spelling mistake yet again, and its really proposing that wlad shits harder than mike. which is a feasible assumption. wlad is a big man with a big set of intestines.
Lepai went down even when he wasn't hit by a flush shot, similar to povetkin... I may overestimate Wlads power some but those cases aren't proof of such.
