If Wladimir Kiltscko was 6"0 he would not even be a ****ing heavyweight, so that example is flawed. He is 6"6 245 pound fighter and his speed even bother David Haye who is probably the fastest heavyweight on the planet. These are the factors you have to look at, he is the most dominant Champion on the planet outside of Floyd Mayweather junior. And no matter what people say the heavyweight division, is still the king of all divisions. Pound for pound rankings are aload of ****. I don't think you can compare fighters in different weight classes, at the end of the day Wladimir Kiltschko would knock Floyd Mayweather out with a jab. David Haye would laugh at Carl Froch and then also knock him out. If the pound for pound rankings where some how calculated by some kind of scoring system. Floyd Mayweather & Wladimir Kiltscko would be 1 & 2. And Manny Pac would not be in the top-5. "I am not coming back to this thread, because i cannot ****ing stand it"........ Nothing personal, its just the thread......
PK it's not about Froch ( we know you don't like him ) it's about the pound for pound rankings. Whenever Wlads fights Are previewed a lot is made of his height, and size. I don't doubt Wlads technical ability, but it's these with his physical attributes that mask his deficiencies.
I have no problem with Wlad being rated so highly. Regardless of the quality of the division, rarely in history has a fighter been so dominant, and looked so completely unbeatable as Wladimir Klitschko has. TBH for the foreseeable future, the only way Wlad loses is to a fluke punch. Yes he has physical advantages, but people overlook the fact he's also a good boxer, for a such a big man his footwork and hand speed is fantastic. This guise of Wlad under Manny Steward gives any ATG HW a fight of it, due to physical presence and skill set. By no account would he beat them all, but he doesn't lose to them all either. He'd be a contender in any era.
I can think of at least 10 or 15 guys who are more talented, have beaten better competition & looked better doing it. Wlad doesnt impress me that much against smaller & inferior opponents, he still relies on pet referees who allow him to grab & lean on anyone who gets close. Anyone durable enough to put Wlad under pressure end up fighting Vitali instead. All p4p lists are subjective but Wlad doesnt make my top10
What is the point in this ****ing thread..? What are pound for pound rankings base on..? A points scoring system..? No. There base on opinion on who is more popular. Why is Manny Pac consider a pound for pound fighter one of the best fighters..? Because he moved up in weight afew pounds...? because he has pumped himself full of steroids, blatantly came off them and he looks **** as a result now. Ok then............so why isn't David Haye considered the worlds number 1 pound for pound fighter if that is the case. David Haye has been fighting guys on average 3 stone heavier than himself, he beat a guy who out weighed him by 8 stone to become the heavyweight champion. You know why..? Because pound for pound rankings are all nonsense. Its just a popularity contest base of absolute and complete utter **** these days. If Manny Pac, even Floyd Mayweather had to start fighting light heavyweights or Cruiser weights they would knocked out. Manny Pac would not beat Chad Dawson or Andre Ward........ So in all honesty if you want to talk about who is the best pound for pound fighter, if you scored it on some sort of creditable system. David Haye should be in the top 3, and only Waldimir Kiltschko and Floyd Mayweather are ahead of him, because of their dominance and achievements. But at the end of the day its still all bull****, apart from me...........this thread is ****. And i am finished with it......see you later....:good What a ****ing nonsense thread.
I bet PK's got some right swagger. Either that or he's a balding, overweight, milk bottle spectacled geek in his 30's, who still lives at his mums and has his hair brushed for him on a morning.
PK you ask what has Manny done to be considered one of the best fighters p4p ! I realise now you are a troll, a good one, I must admit I always thought you were a fool. But now I realise you are actually doing an Ali G type online spoof character.
I think the differences in weight between individual heavyweights should be taken into account when evaluating their P4P ranking. Wlad had a massive weight advantage over Haye, Byrd and Chagaev, three of his best wins. They would have been several divisions below him in any other weight class. That's the main reason I'm not sure if he belongs in a P4P top 10. The guys he has beat around his own side have been pretty poor.
