Foreman is all wrong for Wladimir. So is Frazier really. He matches up better with Ali, who would be to elusive for him IMO with his footspeed and would have outboxed him.

Nothing like a Wlad thread to bring out the 70s worshippers - when HW boxing was a small closed club :yep

Yeah there's a question! I'd probably take LL, too strong a jab for GF. Only just though and if LL got caught it's be lights out.

Boy was that a lame finish :dead No it's very probable that they were not myths. But by your "reasoning" maybe WW2 was a myth too - I wasn't around back then. They sure do have lots of film on that little war don't they - lots of movies too  I was around when all those "giants" where fighting in the 70s. Most could not compete with the top HWs in the 90s/2000s. Tell me more Mr Probability, Mr K bros fan.

wlad would slap and hold then collapse with sheer teror and panic, he couldnt handle an attack from Ibragimov without peeing himself so how do you think he will cope with these guys lol.

All the guys named have alot of mental toughness, Wlad severely lacks in that department, if he freezes up and panics against a guy like Peter, Brewster, or Sanders, what do you think he will lokk like when a guy like Foreman or Frazier are winging shots at him? Wlads got the physical to hang with them, but his lack of toughness would be the downfall of him.

If mental toughnes is take shots without necessary, i agree...Peters chin is better than Georges or Joe's and his also physically very strong fighter.

Brewster was very lucky first fight, as you very well now..

Sanders has better speed than George or Joe..

Mental toughness to me, is being able to fight through the tough times, and being able to go to toe to toe without having a panic attack or falling several times, it's the abilty win when the going gets tough, Wlad has only shown that once in the Peter fight, every other time faltered under the pressure.

Why is Peter's chin better? It isn't actually. He hasn't proven it against huge punchers. Foreman certainly did. Frazier was stopped by Foreman, which is not an indicator that he doesn't have a good chin. His chin was above average at worst.

Sanders has better speed than Foreman, but not the chin, the power, or the strength, or the mental toughness. And he nor Brewster or Peter have much to do with the conversation. A boxer can generally defeat a puncher if he can stay away from him, but Wlad won't be able to avoid Foreman. And Frazier is a swarmer, so the only way Wlad beats him is to engage him in a firefight. He will HAVE to fight him, and on the inside, to beat him. Is he capable of catching him on the end of a punch and stopping him? Yup, but if Frazier gets inside, Wlad doesn't have great power there.

Okay, but if you go toe to toe with someone, reason is, you're not good enought to avoid that. Only stupid boxer take punishment to win, if he can win another way (easier way) Lennox did last years just same thing that wlad do now..
