Manny has donated tons of money to the Phillipines, and bult all sorts of stuff such as hospitals etc
It is not only Wlad, they both decided, even before they became champions, to help others especially kids, and not only the own country people which is rare I think. They do this all the time, that is why I am a fan of them.
Bit ov er the top but yeah he seems a nice guy does Wlad. Doesn't mean i have to enjoy watching his fights which for the most part are like watching grass grow but cant fault the guys heart, out of the ring.
Old news, Zoran is from my country and Wlad sends him i think 10 000 last 3 years and i believe he will continue to do that, and Wlad doesnt brag about it no one would know even here if Zoran didnt told the media. Wlad is great person that is for sure.
hehe.. thought it may be a lil over the top after I typed it but I meant the boy, knowing he's sick and seeing him happy touched me, I don't worship Wlad here. Of course it doesn't mean you have to like the way he fights or anything else about him.
Fantastic champion. Credit to the sport. Very well spoken and polite. Lovely story about the young lad.
I agree. . . He is so much better than some give him credit; you're crazy if oyu don't think Wladimir would at least have a 50/50 chance of beating some of the HW champs of past fistic eras. . . His speed, and athleticism are so underrated. . Against Haye, he really showed how fast his hands, and especially feet are. . Haye really only had a slight advantage of fleetness of hand, and no advantage in foot speed. His straight right hand is probably the hardest punch (not pound for pound), in the history of the sport. . . SURGICAL PRECISION. . . So accurate, straight, fast, and powerful.
Avoiding the usual barney over his fighting style and historical ranking, the way Wlad carries himself is a credit to boxing. He is a true class act, and it's a shame that there aren't the competitive fights out there that could truly cement his legacy in the ring.
