Wlad is already a greater champion than Mike Tyson.

A complete boxer would surely be more than Wlad. He would have things like stamina, lateral movement, the ability to fight while moving backwards or retreating, great finishing skills, great infighting ability, etc., etc. The only similarity between Floyd and Wlad is they both use the men's room when they want to take a ****.

This is why I usually avoid the general forum.

At this point it is entirely premature that Wlad is anywhere near Mike Tyson in terms of accomplishments.

He is not the undisputed champion. He has a few blemishes in his career, blemishes that really should not be excused given his extensive amateur career. His quality of opposition compared to Tyson is actually weaker.

    Tyson beat better fighters.

    Ruddock
    Golota
    Bruno
    Spinks
    Holmes
    Thomas
    Tucker
    Biggs
    Tubbs
    Berbick

are really better than the majority of the fighters that Wlad Klitschko beat. The only fighter that Wlad beat that is on par Tyson's comp is Chagaev and Peter and possibly Jameel McCline. Tyson's reign is alot better because he was unequivocally the champion. He unified the belts and beat the lineal champ. And he beat the guys that had he belts before the alpha champs he beat.

Tyson is being sold short here. Just for Good Measure, Tyson beat more top 10 contenders than Foreman, Frazier, Dempsey, Liston and Rocky Marciano.

Are you suggesting that Wlad is better than these guys too?

Wlad is good and sometimes gets sold short but lest not overcompensate here.

Tyson was fighting when the heavyweight had a lot of talent.
Tyson-holyfield-lewis-bowe-moorer-bruno-golota and an aging foreman and holmes. So it's pathetic to compare tyson's reign as a champ to wlad klitscko.
If klitscko fought at that time i bet he would not win one alphabet title.

Bowe-Lewis-Holyfield-Tyson knocks him the hell out.

Wlad was on his way to getting KTFO by an old version of Lennox Lewis. He's not anything near a prime Tyson, that's a complete mismatch.

Wlad is the best fighter on the scene TODAY, I can definitely give you that, and historically he's not bad either, but he's well below Tyson.

You can get into resumes and its a debate...but H2H...FFS come on.

Have you seen Wlad how he jumps back, holds on, and looks scared as **** even when a guy like Chagaev is coming forward? Come on...Tyson's bob and weave under the jab and hooks inside would have wrecked his world. It's not as if it would take many.

It's nonsense like this that causes Wlad to get hated on like he does.

And that's exactly right. It's not fair to hate a fighter because of his fans, but it's hard to resist when some people are just delusional.

He was fighting in the 80's...Back then , the HW boxing scene was for the most part, filled with white , incapable american cans.& Overrated black american cans.

(Overrated by the very same , white american boxing fans. People who are used to get embarrassed by black american athletes. In almost any sports for that matter... So much so , that it's part of "their" norm. They're used to it.

Lewis & Holyfield were the only real & legit , proven champions Tyson ever fought.
Compared to them , Tyson was just a mere myth , a media creation. A fantastic athlete yes , but nowhere near as talented as these two. He was way more exciting than 90% of HWs though...But not necessarily more talented.

Also , Tyson refused to fight a past prime Foreman.
Defeated a past prime Holmes. (and Wlad's jab has nothing to envy on Holmes' legendary jab).

Bowe was one of the most overrated and one dimensional in hw boxing history. A guy who also was incapable to dominate the mental midget known as Golota.

Moorer was embarrassed by a past prime Foreman. Humiliated by a one trick pony who only had ko power & a solid chin (David Tua).

Golota was a mentally unstable gatekeeper equivalent at best. Extremely overrated by his deluded fans too. It's funny , people still remember and mention this guy's name "as if"...And yet , people are quick to dismiss & even forget a guy like Zeljko Mavrovic. (who was way more dangerous , endurant & a more serious challenge for Lennox...)...

Says you. ALL eras had their pros and cons. The only people who do not accept this fact have a very selective memory.

Who knows what would've happened. We can only speculate.

Bowe = ridiculed by a mental midget. (need i say more ? )
Lewis = prime for prime.A serious challenge and wlad's biggest threat. I'd personally give Lewis a slight edge...
    Tyson = 50/50
    Holyfield = 50/50

Tyson is better as he was undisputed, remember WBOGUS doesn't count, BTW when Tyson was champ he was the man, Wlad is just starting to become the man, Tyson would've never stood for 2 others guys walking around with belts and calling themselves champs.
