In other words you make excuses for Hayes sorry performance while bitching when a real champion Ko's his opponent. Yet unlike Haye he actually managedf to Ko and dominate his opponent, Also Dominated Chagaev ( you know the guy who really had the belt and stepped in after your idol lost his balls with a real shoulder injury and has a tko from it.. Also the stoppage would of happened sooner chambers was starting to drop his hands in the 9th but the glove issue prolonged it. It takes two to fight and much like haye gainst Valuev Eddie didn't want to.
If Wlad gave away a foot in height and 100lbs in weight, then that type of performance considering all the physical disadvantages he would have would be exactly the way he should fight. Difference being Wlad is pretty much always the bigger man with everything in his favour and he still fights like hes scared shitless :deal He needs to open up, hell even Steward was raging because of this. When Haye fights someone remotely near his size he blasts them out, we'll see what style he uses in the Ruiz fight wont we ya dumb yank
Excuses are all you have Haye he fought like shitt against someone who by the way Holyfield and chagaev and ruiz have the same size discrepancy.. Notice they didnt fight like a *****. Wlad has 54 wins 48 ko's so obviously he knocks out his opponents Hell He has twice the Ko's as Haye has fights :dealwhat the hell is your point he doesn't stop his opponent s:huh or emmanuel told him to finish him before he did.. You never heard a corner yell at their fighter before:blood Obviously not and by the looks of it he opened up and chambers was ko'd See the difference.. Yeah he really blasted out fragmoni, Abdoul, Mormeck, Johansen, Barrett, Mock and Thompson see those two round destructions against all those elite fighters atsch
I'm wondering why its never his opponent's fault...:think They all give good exciting effort right?:tired
For people that don't understand boxing and what it truely takes to be a "boxer" I can understand how this fight may have been boring. If your looking for nothing but brawling go watch the UFC
Glad I didn't watch this. :thumbsup Won't watch Wlad fight again until he fights someone who will actually bring the fight to him. Only time in my nearly 13 years as a boxing fan that I've ever boycotted a fighter. Now that's saying something about how dull this ****er really is. He's turning away hardcore fans for crying out loud!
I'm a Wlad fan and can't really back up much in this thread, even Emanuel his self couldn't help but nag about it in the 12th and that's his head trainer.
Anyone out there that you, a fool, think is good enough to bring the fight "to him" out there that he's possibly ducking?
I know you are critical of Wlad but I think you're being unfair here. Unfortunately, I don't have punchstats available but I was under the impression Wlad threw more power punches in this bout than in ANY of his fights over the last couple of years. He did let his hands go, he punched a lot, he was very active (compared to other fights of his), he shot dozens of rights, he punched a lot of left hooks that were all deftly dodged by Chambers. He just didn't land many big hands, his power punch accuracy wasn't very good. I easily admit that, it was obvious to see.
I think what all mean here is he doesn't engage enough. I'm a Wlad fan and understand/appreciate his defense when he needs to be defensive but sometimes he got fighters ready to be eaten and doesn't bite at all. That's what pissed off his head trainer before all the other critics.
