Lets face it, its time for a new guard in boxing. Fury, Joshua, and Wilder are the future. Maybe even Jennings too.

He didn't throw punches because he couldn't find his range, there was nothing up more than that.

Wlad didn't throw punches because his reflexes are gone. Couldn't let his hands go against a moving target. Incredible run by Wlad. Amazing heavyweight. But time waits for no man

I don't wanna discredit what Fury achieved by saying "Wlad was shot". But, Wlad was a great champion and both men deserve huge respect tonight.

Wlad will be remembered as a great and the best of his era, though I still think Vitali is better but he doesn't have the resume that Wlad has.

Hard to say how people will judge him now his reign is over. For me he was just outside the top 10 ATG's. His early losses, the lack of a defining win or a win over another ATG and the fact he fought in such a weak era limits his ranking as an ATG.

^ I disagree he is firmly inside the top ten for me. 18 consecutive title defenses. Unifying 3 of the 4 belts and the second longest reign in history. It could be argued forever and I'm not going to spend much time on it. 11 year unbeaten streak is remarkable. Hats off to an ATG in my book.
