People it is very clear what is going on here. Wlad has one more fight for RTL. he is going to make any easy defense against a guy he knows he will beat the **** out of and get paid big. He doesnt see any risk in this fight and knows he will make millions of euros.

Next he wants to turn around and fight a massive payday fight against haye in just a short time after. He will renegotiate with RTL for this fight and he will make bucket loads of money.

Wlad has both of these dates available to him, he wants to cash in as highly as he can. I dont think he feels he can realistically lose either fight and wont get hurt in either. I would tend to agree with him.

Wlad gives millions of euros to charity and to poor countries like Africa. I cant make sense of why he is so motivated to make such huge money myself. If I was him at this point I would be considering my legacy more than money, the guy has to be so set financially that a few more million euros wont make or break him. I am not happy with how this all went down.

Sounds like his head is in the right place. Wlad is doing what's best for himself. Also, if that means more money for Haye's 50%... I don't see why he would have a problem with it either.

Absolutely, everyone is motivated by money. But, dont you feel there comes a point where things are more important than money?

I dont have any idea how set financially Wlad is at this point. I am just assuming he is sitting on mountains of cash seeing as how he and his foundation can give out millions of euros to Africa. He also has lucrative sponsorships, a sports line, TV deals, Movies etc.

So, if you can afford to hand out millions of euros you must be pretty set financially. The question is then what is his motivation to keep making as much money as possible?

I would also like to say that I do believe there are people who are concerned with their legacy and money only matters to a point. I would like to think Wlad is one of those guys, but I do not think he is at this point.

really? I am questioning if his head is in the right place. This fight with chisora is motivated by one factor only..money. The question is why is Wlad at this point in his career so motivated by money when he obviously has enough to hand out millions to charity?

If Wlad was motivated by money he'd fight Haye. The Haye fight would be the biggest payday of his pitifull career and would make him many times more than Chisora.

Wlad is motivated by obe this alone..... FEAR. He has been brutally KO'd 3 times by bums and now he is too **** scared to step up and fight a good fighter for the first time in his carrer.

Wlad is a fraud and a coward.

The part I can't quite work out about Wlad taking this tune-up (and I'm all for boxers being active)...is, how is Wlad and his promoters expecting to promote the Haye bout? I don't know the timeframe needed to promote a bout the size of this...but If you include the training camp into that 8 week period, will the promotion, travelling etc not get in the way?

Especially when much of the problem has been down to generating as much money as possible.

I know what you are saying, I know a couple of millionaires who, despite their fortune, continue to work and make more. I strongly believe that if you fight for legacy the money comes naturally, so I support your view on prize fighters aiming for the best fights for the fans because if you give the fans what they want, you get the legacy and the money to go with it.

Because he's at the tail-end of his career and only has one or two dudes out there he's waiting to fight. Why not get as many fights in as possible?
