Manny Steward has turned Wlad into Lennox basically, same style. the only difference is lewis chin was a bit stronger, and maybe a little better stamina, but thats about it! can Wlad dominate like lennox did? he gets better every fight

Lennox dominated a much better era though. Much stronger chin, more heart, better jab. Probably slightly better boxer aswell.

You are hysterical! Great stand-up material. :rofl

Let's see... the only thing missing from Wlad when you campare him to Lennox is:

    1. CHIN
    2. CHIN
    3. CHIN
    4. Heart
    5. Heart
    6. More heart
    7. Aggressiveness
    8. Jab minus the slap part
    9. Killer instinct
    10. Did I mention chin?

    Moving on now.................. :hi:

I can see where your coming from Undisputed but for me Wlad is too tentative to be compared to Lewis in style, he's also a lot more textbook.

I don't know where all this "Lewis had such a better chin" bull**** is coming from, but Wladimir has never been KO'd as bad as Lewis was vs. Rahman, that's a fact. Lennox was also quite "dazed & confused" after his first fight with McCall wasn't he?

To be fair Lewis only shows 2 TKO losses on his record and Wladimir shows 3.

Because Lewis has taken the best shots from Quitali, Tyson, Tua, Briggs, Bruno etc.

I'd say it's fair to say that Wladimir gets buzzed easier but Lewis gets buzzed worse.

Stamina is a slight edge to Lewis, strictly because Wladimir has 2 TKO losses, one each to Purrity & Brewster that most people attribute to Klitschko being gassed.

Who would you say has the better jab?

I think Wlad's jab is good but he paws too much with it so I'd pick Lewis.

What about power in their straight right hands aswell?

Vitali, Briggs & Bruno all had Lewis in trouble, don't deny that either.

I don't think Tyson or Tua landed their money punches, or at least enough of them, to say that Lennox's chin held up to their best.

    Excellent questions!

Wlad has the better, more powerful, faster & most importantly versatile jab IMO.

    Let me explain:

When Wlad's on with his timing & distance he can win fights with it alone. He hooks off it & paws as a range finder. Recent fights WK has used the pawing a bit too much but who am I to say, it's worked.

I can see the comparison to an extent, they both have top notch jabs, there tall, there chins are weak, questionable killer instinct, though Lewis showed he had it at times and other times he didnt, many questioned it after his 2nd fight with McCall in 97, the fact that Lewis was still timid to let the bombs go, while his oppenent had his hands down at his waist, shows his killer instinct wasnt all there at the time.

I think Lewis may be similar to Wlad, he however is stronger in every category, but comparable in most, none the less. I would like to point out, Lewis was not afraid to go toe to toe with his oppenents, unlike Wlad who panics and falls all-time when the pressure begins to get to him. In the Briggs, Bruno, Vitali, and Mercer fights he had some toe to toe action with his oppenents and seemed to come out on top, something Wlad will never be able to do IMO.

Who has the better power in their right hand? Even in my opinion, here's why:

Lewis was more of an overhand right with a bit more shoulder thrown into it. A very powerful shot that ended Rahman's night in the 2nd fight.

Wlad is more of a straight right or cross thrown to textbook perfection.

That's not to say that both don't throw the other way it's just the way the throw more often.

Both have amazing 1-2's with speed, accuracy & timing.

At least Wlad got up when he was knocked down, unlike Lennox who was counted out!
