I'll tell ya what I care about. It absolutely irks me that Holyfield gets so woefully underrated by boxing fans today, and Lewis so grossly overrated - particularly since, as someone who followed all these fighters from start to finish, I saw it all as it happened, and basically all the excuses that the Lewis camp offered for his deficiencies, not facing Bowe, not facing Holyfield or Tyson until they were old, getting taken out by second raters - all of that crap gets recycled as if it were factual, when what it really is PROPAGANDA by one fighter's handlers. It's sickening, really

But however much speculation and unsubstantiated allegations are offered, NOTHING will change the fact that Lewis faced old versions of Holyfield and Tyson, didn't face Bowe at all, and is the only HW champ taken out twice in the early rounds by second raters when he held the title. Those are the historical facts!

most people rate holyfield as a better fighter than lewis but not a better heavyweight and thats the way it should be.

Damn you need help. Dude, The reason Lewis vs Bowe never happen cause Bowe refuse to fight his mandatory challenger in Lennox Lewis so instead Bowe threw the wbc title to the trash in front of the press.

Lewis vs Tyson back in 96 didn't happen cause Tyson wanted to fight a bum fighter to unify a heavyweight title and Lewis was the mandatory challenger to tyson title but tyson refuse so instead tyson was stripped of his title for not agreeing to face Lewis so who's fault is that?

Now back to Lewis so called glass chin. I said this on other posts that Lewis has face 13 fighters with a very good ko percentege and 11 out of 13 he didn't get tko. <<<<< To me that shows lewis does have a very good chin.

If you keep ignoring my replys then it proves that you can't take the truth.

I think he can given the current crop of HW's.....and I think Wald is a very good HW...he's just not better than LL. He could be later but he'll need to regain his old form. Before he got KO'd he was a supremely confident and very offensive minded fighter. He was more fluid with his combinations as well. After he Got KO'd he hasn't looked the same. Hes steadily getting back to old form but it's taking a LOOOOOOOOOOONG time. This Wald is definilty NOT LL 2.0. He's just the best HW of a long list of decent HW's.

Not only holyfield but also tyson, briggs, tua, vitali, bruno, rudduck, morrison, grant, golata <<<<<How come those fighters with very good ko percentege couldn't stop lewis? Damn zakman needs to watch lewis fights cause obviously the way he's talking is like he didn't even watch lewis fights at all. If he did watch lewis fights then it's obvious that he didn't pay attention.

The analysis is flawed and the comparison is laughable. You got everything wrong. Klitschko has more stamina and a stronger chin, but less talent and less skill. Lewis was counted out twice, Klitschko has never been counted out. Klitschko went 12 rounds against Sam Peter at roughly the same pace. Lewis never did that ever in his whole career. Lewis woudl use his jab to keep and oppoonent off him, Klitschko only uses the jab to set up the big right. Lewis could fight while moving laterally, Klitschko only fights in straight lines. Lewis woudl occasionally bob and weave, I haven't yet seen Klitschko do that.

Lennox was more comfortable with punches being fired at him than Wlad is. Wlad seems more disciplined as Lewis could be sloppy. Lewis had a better uppercut and better body attack.

Dude read my reply it's that simple. Maybe you finally get it about who got the better chin

After you read that, let me ask you a question, honestly do you think wlad would survive in lewis era in the 90's?

    :patsch

    I don't remember that happening

I do remember him being counted out against rahman, but against mccall he was on his feet with his gloves up ready to go on.

I suggest you actualy watch fights before you coment on them, and stop reading boxrec :hey

I bet he only read boxrec instead of watching lewis vs mccall 1. Vs rahman, lewis took him way too lightly and lewis didn't pretect himself. So he let rahman nail a free shot in which rahman did by koing lewis.

All points that you stated here have no basis in fact.

Like I asked before, is McCall & better puncher than Sanders? I don't think so. Was Rahman's punch better than Brewster's? Again they are the same if anything.
