Actually it says TKO on boxrec. Lewis was clearly out on his feet against McCall. I suppose that is TKO because he was off the canvass. Personally I think it was a knockout and certainly would have been if the referee had it it go on.

And Holyfield lost the title to a man who got KO'd by a granddad in his next fight. Sounds far worse to me :good

How the hell can he have more stamina and a better chin? Are you saying that his stamina losses weren't stamina related then? If that's the case then they were chin related - either way it makes what you said there incorrect.

So that was someone else desperately clinging onto Lewis for dear life at the end of round 6 then? Funny cos it looked like VITLAY to me :huh

No closer than when Vitali hit him with that right hand in the second round.

Wladimir had irregular blood sugar levels in that fight, **** happens. I think the rematch proved the first fight was a fluke.

wouldn't exactly agree as by this point brewster wasn't exactly in the bast shape or form of his life.

I agree with that statement entirely but I think Lewis being rattled by Bruno, Mercer, Vitali, Briggs, Mirovic, etc. is nothing to be ashamed of since they are all good boxers & they are HW's after all. That's what the Heavies do................

The only major difference in the second fight was that Wladmir didn't gas.

..........and you're saying that Lennox didn't clinch & cling on to Vitali after Vitali landed that right hand in the second?

PS: I noticed you didn't care to comment when that bonehead said "Lewis smacked Vitali around the ring"

    You're so predictable.

I think your in the wrong here you said before at no point did vitali look like has was going to go down. He did look like he was going after the uppercut in the sixth as did lewis in the second.

The detached retina healed fully or Brewster wouldn't have been medically cleared to fight in the first place.

Brewster also stated that the eye was not a factor in the loss directly after the fight.

I meant no worse than the second round. For the record neither fighter looked like they would've gone down without sustaining more punishment. It's not like they held on to keep from going down, they held to keep from getting hit anymore.
