come on you think the brewster of the 2ndd fight was as good as the one in the first. I think wlad still beats him and should have beat him first time but it was a weakened fighter he face.

Be honest that uppercut in the 6th was by far the best/hardest punch of the fight. All credit to vitali for not going down, because i think 90% of hw's would of folded from it. He was badly hurt though and also was strugling to see the punches coming as half his face was hanging off.
Lewis was taking control of the fight and it was a good thing the fight got stopped when it did before any permanent damage was done.

It was also lucky it was an old, overweight Lewis that night that had prepared for kirk johnson then a prime in shape lewis or vitali would of been ktfo :bbb

Still vitali showed a lot of heart, and also a great chin one that his brother can only admire.

I would say wlad does some things better and vice-versa. Lennox had a far more diverse arsenal. he could throw any punch, especially the uppercut. he delivered them from all kinds of angles too. Wlad focuses on the jab, right-cross, and hook which usually come from the same angles.

The biggest advantage for Lewis are the intangibles such as style, mindset, killer instinct, toughness, confidence, relaxed in the ring, etc.. This is Lewis' biggest advantage and makes him a more complete fighter. Wlad lacks some of these things or is inconsistent in many. And let's face it, Wlad has mopped the canvas more than Lindsay Lohan at a Los Angeles night club :yep

I would say Wlad's biggest advantages relate to the technical side such as handspeed and foot movement. i would say his jab, left hook are a little better too. A give wlad an edge in defense too

The right-cross, power, technique, ring generalship are pretty even too.

The good news is Wlad can improve on some of these intangible factors like Lennox did throughout his career and i believe he will.

But as far as today's wlad vs. a prime lennox, lewis is just on another level and will probably always be. that's not say wlad cannot become an ATG but lewis is top 5 for me.

Lewis only had a killer instinct if he truly disliked his opponent. He was way to content to paw his way to a points win.
Wlad closes guys out, even if he isn't trying to.

Other than my disagreeing that Wlad has a better defense than Lewis, and that Wlad can improve on all the intangibles Lewis had, this post pretty much sums up the whole thread!!!

Wlad is always going to react poorly to being hit with a hard punch, it's ingrained in who he is. The good new is that he's not easy to hit and he has a terrific offense, so the vast majority of fighters will never test these types of intangibles.

What the **** is this? As someone who usually rushes to defend the Klitschkos from the haters even though they are far from being my favorite fighters out there, I really hate **** like this

Wlad appears to be improving even through his mid thirties. He is shooting at a stationary target when it comes to Lewis. In other words; I will consider this again in two years.

Wladimir never was knocked out cold. Great heart, never quit.

Wladimirs footwork is better than Lewis, better Jab. Lewis has the better right hand and more killer instinct.

But sometimes Lewis was a dirty fighter, holding and ! hitting.

But the autor is right Emanuel trained Wlad the right way. Wlad is the most dominant Champion in boxing historiy.

Wladimir has very good stamina (knocked Chambers out in the 12th, 12 very very fast rounds against Haye). His "stamina problems" was the result of false training.

Wlad will never be as good as Lennox was, simply because he doesn´t have the ability to compete in a war. As soon as someone is able to get to him, he´s in deep trouble. Unfortunately there aren´t too many fighters out there who are able to get to him. Haye does have the abilíty, but he wasn´t willing to take a risk. Helenius could be the one, he´s big, he can bang, but he´s a bit slow.

Lewis did not have a better chin then Wlad. Lewis was rocked by Briggs and Vitaly. He was also brutally KOed by Rahman and Mccall in his Prime. How is his chin better?:-(
Wlad was not KOed or even floored in his prime.
