Fair enough. I'd agree with you on it being quicker and I think it's sharper and crisper but he frustrates me when he paws it lol. Tua landed a lot of left hooks bang on Lewis chin aswell.
Wlad doesnt have an uppercut. Lewis did and a great one at that. Wlads so predictable hes has exactly 4 combos.
That's a bit harsh on Klitschko, he clearly showed heart & resolve vs. Peter & TOS, when he was buzzed by Peter he survived & threw back. Quite in fact Klitschko always showed heart so that's another bull**** line that I seem to hear regularly.
I'll agree on that, Lewis throws a great uppercut from the inside & the outside. That very hard to do without telegraphing the punch, missing & looking ridiculous all at the same time!
I give Wlad credit for the Peter fight, I have always said that fight was the one that impressed me the most. I have been watching Wlad for many years now and cant recall one time where he went toe to toe with his oppenent where he didnt end up on the canvas or frantically panicking, which turns into excessive holding. That to me does not show much toughness at all, infact it makes him look very weak when the going gets tough. I would like to go on record and say, Wlad's jab is the more impressive than any other fighters I have seen live, I even feel it might be slightly better than Lewis' come to think of it. Wlad's straight right is still not quite as good as Lewis', but the 01-02 Wlad, probably had an equal straight right hand as Lennox.
I really cant disagree with you, so yes, they are at least comparable in that aspect. I wonder what was a harder punch, the hook Wlad caught Brock with or the straight right Lewis laid out Rahman with? Tough call IMO.
I wouldn't even say that Lennox has a vastly better chin, honestly. Neither had legendary chins, but the claims that both had china chins is equal parts bull****, so...
Klitschko's chin isn't china, it's decent/avergae. Lewis however had a very good chin imo. Fair enough he got KO'd twice, but they were legimate contenders and it's more likely to happen at heavy than any other division because of the vast power and the fact that fighters can be seperated by weight further than other classes.
I can see the comparison. Both are tall, athletic, have excellent jabs and average chins, excellent power, and both have unknowingly suffered from Manny thinking unsavory thoughts about each while training. There's more similarities than differences.
I agree with those who say they are both similar because they are to me, however lewis was just a bit better at klistschko at almost everything. Both are great talents
