Hmm.. but his fight was boring so don't confuse that with all old fights being boring.

I wish that I had these sort of problems. I wish that I had the problem of dominating undefeated Champions with one hand. Just tossing and turning at night over the fact that I win so easily with my left, that I can't find too many opportunities to throw the right.

I guess you have to retire before you will become recognized...

When Wlad is retired there will be a new "good HW" in a "worse" era,
and WK will be seen as "not so bad after all"...and half a decade later
    he will be glorified...:yep

Wlad's a true competitor. I'm pretty sure he's angry and frustrated that he let jabbed his way to boring ass fight against an inferior opponent who gave him numerous opportunites to inflict some serious damage on him. He's pissed that his fans booed his ass for 12 rounds and during the post fight interview. He's pissed that his trainer was clearly dissapointed in his effort. You could tell Wlad was upset by his post fight comments. I guarentee this guy is not satisfied with boring everyone to death with his over cautious, jab heavy offense. Especially being that he has the power to put anyone to sleep. He's not Paulie Malignaggi. This type of effort is unacceptable and he knows it. I'm 100% positive that he'll put forth a better effort next time.

Of all the posts about this fight I must say that this version is imo the most accurate. People are just complaining about Wlad and they forget that Ibragimow is to 50% responsible that the fight didnt open up. Great analysis! :good

Ibragimow was just counting on counterpunching, maybe stunning Wlad with a fast left and then to KO him. He knew that in a lengthy technical fight he had no chance. People also highly underestimate Ibragimow. For a heavyweight he is very very fast and he has power. He is like a mini-Sanders with less reach due to his size.

Ibragimow only looked so harmless because Wlad neutralized him so good.

I didn't find this fight boring at all, because I knew that Ibragimow was dangerous until the end, since he stayed fresh all through.
Fresh = still fast = still good pop = still very dangerous.

Blame the hollywood movies and the expectations they've created. People got so used to explosions, fire, screaming that they tend to not identify and appreciate other versions.

Im glad I can still enjoy the "other versions" of good classic :bbb
