    What say you?

Big Numbers: While HBO inexplicably opted out of showing the world heavyweight championship fight between Klitschko and Chagaev, ratings for the RTL telecast in Germany were through the roof. More than 11 million viewers tuned into the live telecast, generating a 58.4% market share. 61,000 spectators attended the fight in person at the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.

11 million viewers and a sold out stadium...not counting all of us on espn classic. 60% market share thats crazy!!!!

No PPV's in the USA will ever see 60% market share..ever.

that is pretty crazy about the 61000 in attendance.

just goes to show you how huge boxing is in europe and other parts of the world. could you imagine filling up a pro football stadium for a boxing match?

try and think outside of the USA in terms of draw, this is a worldwide event now.

hatton/Pac did between 1.6 and 2 million buys they estimated, I havent seen the final numbers. Compare that to what Wlad just did?

I havent seen an official number, my numbers are just based on what Arum expected, they may be way off.

Still this no way, no shape or form compares to the 11 million for klit and a 61k audience live.
