povetkin, pulev, jennings in april, fury in august and stiverne vs wilder winner in the winter. that will be add some quality on wlads resume. after fighting the pianettas, mormecks, wachs and lepais, wlad is upgrading his game big time. He is 38 and still going strong taking on every possible top contender. That is a real champion!
i think wlad will stop jennings after dominating him. the fury fight will be interesting in the first rounds, but the first time wlad lands fury will be knocked out. and if you want to know how the stiverne fight will look like, then take a look at stiverne vs austin. wlad will jab him to death and ko him in the middle rounds. but i would love to see wlad vs wilder with the hype in the states, problem will be that wlad will ko him brutally^^
:rofl:nutI'm a big fan of English fighters but come on be real for a second you know Tyson doesn't have a chance Hans. And I like Fury.
True, but he already has good names. Byrd, Povetkin, Haye, Ibragimov, Chagaev, Pulev, and Thompson are high quality wins. Mcline, Peter, Brock and Chambers to a lesser extent. Rahmen, Mercer and Brewser were shot, but at least add name quality.
Wladimir always wanted to fight everyone in his division. It's his opponents that usually postponed, cancelled or openly declined. Remember when Povetkin cancelled the fight in 2009?
The ironic thing is.. Povetkin was calling out Wlad! This is from before the Thompson fight 2008/2009 in Hamburg: http://p5.focus.de/img/fotos/origs679689/035097576-w750-h541-o-q75-p5/2e8e5821.jpg :rofl:rofl:rofl Then when Povetkin became mandatory he **** his pants and ducked Wlad for years. Really weird.
He deserves credit for seeking out the biggest challenges out there but it's not too hard when you're so far ahead of the competition. Can you really imagine Lewis, Holyfield or Bowe being reluctant to face Jennings, Fury and co?
Pulev and Povetkin weren't good challengers. Just overhyped by Klit****s to try and make Wlad look good. On an ATG worthy resume these guys wouldn't even be worth mentioning
