Wlad is simply a top athlete effective in his comfort zone. Vitali is a phenomenon

Prime for prime, vitali beats wlad no doubt. Whilst right now Wlad appears to be the more mobile ko artist, I tend to look at things from a different angle. Lets say, we get a prime tyson and throw him in there against either of the bros right now. I'd much favour Vitali's chances than I would Wlad's.

I find it reasonably hard to artiuclate why I think that. Vitali might well still have his chin (we don't really know as we havent seem him eat much of a flush punch in recent times), whereas Wlad would go down the first hook he eats. Vitali will always have a calm sense of control unerpinned by his ability to take a good flush punch, whereas Wlad's sense of control derives through his percieved ability to keep his opponents off of him by using his jab cross. Now this is all well and good given the oppostion Wlad has had, but the second you throw someone in there who WILL get in at you, he'll be out. Vitali however might just be able to still take the power punches, take Tyson through the later rounds and win on points.

Wlad is much better. Wlad has unrivaled power and speed. Vitali has the chin.

 

Both men are ducking nobody. They fight everybody who is placed in front of them. If Ali still were active then both Klitschkos were willing to fight him.

 

Bone, I've said it for a while now. Wlad will definitely go down as the greater fighter on accomplishments, but Vitali is a better total package. Excellent post.
