Wlad is so much better fundamentally as a boxer than Vitali

Well we know Vitali can take big punches...............which means he's also going to be deep in the mix hitting his brother back............

 

I actually agree with this. No doubt Vlad had the better career and was the more eye pleasing fighter but Vitali was tougher and had a very difficult style to neutralize. I think Vitali would make it a dog fight like he did with Lennox. Vlad wouldn't hold up imo.

 

Of course he'd hurt Wlad. There's not doubt in my mind about that.

 

I agree that Wlad is so much better fundamentally as a boxer than Vitali.
I also think Vitali has a so much better chin than Wlad.
H2H favorite is Vitali. With Vitali clinching wouldn't mean much.

 

I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that Vlad is an Olympic Gold medalist ….while Vitali on the other hand is a former kickboxer

 

It’s just seems like when kickboxers transition to boxing …they don’t become technicians…Khosai Galaxy…Troy Dorsey …etc

 

I wish Vitali would of tried to electrocute someone mid match like Blanka.

The death mask of whom I forgot the name of, the Thai boxer was perfectly fine as a technical fighter.

 

Vitali has his own unconventional style that he honed razor sharp. Wlad is the fundamentally better boxer but Vitali's style is extremely problematic for virtually all his opponents. Other than punching power I think that Vitali's physical characteristics are superior to Wlad's. His reaction times are off the scale for a guy his size. He's probably one of the top 3 HW chins ever. He never got tired and fought at a high pace. They did a Frazier vs Vitali thread once and somebody said "lol Vitali never saw somebody throw as many punches as Frazier". I looked up the stats and Vitali was often busier than Frazier. You have a 250lb giant throwing more punches than a 208lb swarmer. That's why Vitali was arguably greater H2H than Wlad.
