Still the best, still a Top10 ATG moving up the ranks, still the guy who beats every HW out there with ease and that with almost 40 years. And still the pain in the ass of a lot of internet keyboard warriors and trolls opening one troll thread after the other.
I think that Foreman at 39 definitely had a chance to KO Wlad But I agree that Wlad being as good as he is at this age is pretty impressive
After Lennox Lewis and his brother, I'd bet on Wlad Klitchko to beat anybody else in the history of boxing MORE TIMES THEN NOT in a head to head match up. Sure somebody could catch him like Tyson, Ibeuachi, Tua, Foreman, but in a best of 5 match up i'd favor him.
Uhm, how about his brother? His brother would probably knock him out with 10 weeks of training TODAY, let alone when he was 39.
His hair is too short and it makes him look older, and he has a new child which can take a lot out of you in the short term and the long depending on how annoying they are. As far as the performance last night, it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. Wlad did what he had to do to win against a defense first fighter who was more focused on not getting KTFO than winning.
He retired at 36/37, fat old Lewis remember? Wlad is in incredible shape, 12 front foot rounds no problem for Wlad. He was smashing up Jennings at the end I thought, still fresh.
It was only a few months ago he was knocking around Pulev. I did think it looked like Wlad looked old, but how could he have aged that fast? Doesn't seem believable. It was his closest fight in like a decade. That's meaningful to me.
