What's with the Wlad obsession Shaunster? There are other fighters in boxing to spend your prescious time of bashing.

 

Wlad is better look at his record. He fights the better opponents.

IMO Vitali is overrated. Wladimir underrated.

 

7-years ago I would agree that Vitali is better.
But not today. Today it's Wladimir, imo.

there arent to much to pick from, east european fighters only competed with pro western fighters after the fall of the iron curtain.

you won't see a Vatsetis or Michailovs cutting the ring aggainst Ali...

I am a woman and i watch Ali live as a child together with my grandpa and my father both boxing fans.

And my grandpa took me to Aachen in 1997 to show me the guy who can be the next Ali. At this fight my grandpa said "this guy is unbelievable, he has the tools to become a real good Champion but he needs a good american trainer"! And years later i say, yes he was right!

I support Wladimir this is right but i watch boxing at a time maybe you was not born.

There's no doubt that Wlad has improved, but if we talk about a bout between the 2 brothers...I would put money on Vitali everytime. Vitali would stand there, and would try to get in range whether he got hit by Wlad or not...I couldn't say the same about Wlad.

I would say at this point in both their career's, Wlad is better...but I was impressed by Vitali's last performance also, he was a lot sharper, and a lot faster than I expected (based on his last couple bouts).
