Wlad is too stiff and one dimensional to beat a prime Tyson.

So was Corry Saunders. And Wlad wasn't neglecting training, ****ing everything that moved and fighting on the other side of the planet when he lost to Saunders.

You're right. Fat Buster was an all time great. Dude had no business being a HW. Just look at his fights after Tyson.

Such a bad match-up for Wlad.

    - 2 handed power against a very shaky chin
    - Bob and weave to get through that jab
    - Keeps low, effectively nullifying Wlad's height advantage.
    - A bully. Something I'm sure Wlad would HATE!! The guy can't fight going backwards.
    - Wlad panics under pressure. TYSON!!!!!

If this fight were real, I'd bet every $$$$ I own on a prime Tyson.

Watch some of the combos put together and you'll see Buster Douglas was no bum.

Yes he was a disappointment in career terms (mostly because he was fat and failed to train), but when in top, peak shape, I'd pick him to beat anyone on Wlad's resume.

I doubt you've seen any of his fights to be fair.

Most would say that winning undisputed heavyweight championship, is not a disappointment at all

Love the wlad haters dragging up old fighters to knock him, then getting all happy about it haha, guess what fools ????, it can't ****ing happen, and who gives a **** ?, Ali would have made Tyson look like a twat but who cares ?, no one can prove ****, haha what a laughable thread, take this **** to the classic board where they will break it down over and over for pages and pages for you

True but some see that fight as somewhat of an anomoly.

I guess that's why we have idiots on here saying that Corrie Sanders is better than Douglas.

I cant believe this fight gets analyzed as much as it does. You'd think it's a given that Tyson beats Wladimir. This fight isnt even competitive. Wlad gets starched, and early. He's too robotic , has a weak chin and he caves in under pressure. To top it off, Tyson is a few levels above him in terms of talent, ability and skill. Even a post - prison Tyson would beat the **** out of Wladimir. It's a terrible matchup for Wlad stylistically, and it wouldn't matter anyway because he's simple an average fighter and could never beat someone on Tyson's level prime for prime.

Lewis and Tyson, I agree. Holyfield I doubt, and Bowe would surely get KO'd.

Wlads main asset as an athlet is his power. He migt very well be a bigger hitter than Lewis, and close to Tyson. Take that into your account.

This must be the first well written and resonable post I have read from this account.

Yeah, a prime Tyson would probably be able to take the fight to Wlad, and I have seen nothing that suggests that Wlad would do good in a close up dog fight, unlike Lewis.

But a past it Tyson would loose, and loose badly. When you measure Wlad, you need to look past his dorky behaviour and silly accent, as well as the lack of toughness he displayed against Sanders, and remember that the fella is a ridiculous big puncher. He is probably a bigger puncher than Lewis, and might be close to a prime Tyson.

Prime Bowe had a great chin. Unlikely he gets KO'd by Wlad.

Very likely IMO. I laugh at this prime stuff, Wlad has been steadily improving over ten years but we're supposed to believe a 25 year old Bowe would have the edge on him today. Laughable. He would get knocked out.

The thing is we'll never know, Tyson was from a past era.
But the one thing I do know is "No one" knows what would happen.

I remember before Klitschko vs Brewster II the socalled experts all agreed on one thing, and that was Brewster would never quit! They all said he had to be killed or knocked out.

    And what happened??

    Brewster QUIT!!!
