Wlad is too stiff and one dimensional to beat a prime Tyson.

There really isn't much wrong with being unable to beat a prime Tyson.

That being said, I think Wlad would have stood a chance.... if he had magically known the exact gameplan to beat Tyson.
People worked Tyson out eventually, and he lost his aura of invincibility.

Bruno could get clocked by a marauding, speedy guy like Haye, but he's got a great chance of flattening the Bermondsey man first. He was a terror for six rounds, giving a young Lewis absolute hell.

OK, for all those who think a prime, focused, in shape Tyson beats Wlad.

    YOUR"E ABSO****INGLUTELY CORRECT!

But we only saw that Tyson until around 88, pre Ruddock.

And that particular Tyson KOs any, and all AT Hws in their respective primes.

But part of this game is endurance. Physical endurance in the ring for 36 minutes, and physical endurance for 30, even 40 years out of it.

Not to mention there is a great stressful business part of it too. And the horrors of celebrity relationships, marriages. Did I mention that ALL great HWS are typically raised dirt poor, and often carry mental baggage associated with that, and poor kids don't always have the most well behaved friends, who can often sidetrack a fighter when he has made it.

Put all that together, and you find that Iron Mike was doomed from the start. Had he retired prior to douglas we might all be in concencus that he is the GOAT. But from that fight on the outside disturbances KOd Iron Mike, and the whole of the man was exposed.

The same can not be said for former Soviet fighters, who are raised hungry, but disciplined. And there minds are concentrated on getting better, in life and in sport.
Our fighters get a check, get high, get laid, and get imprisoned.

Overall the average Wlad/Vitali Kos the average Mike Tyson. And they both seriously beat Holy Lewis etc.

Love how people are taking the **** out of wlad, because he would lose to a prime tyson haha, yeah problem is that will never happen will it ?, why not take it to the ****ing classic section where you can all gloat and masturbate together imagining it. For ****s sake the **** poor old wlad has to go put up.

"yeah your **** wlad because you cant be sent back in time to fight and lose to a prime tyson" :patsch yeah what a **** he is for not finding a way to do that. But hey give it another few decades and time machines will be invented im sure for you all to see, if your still alive.

By the way a prime tyson would get ****ed up dazzled and left on ***** street against nearly every version of Ali bar the end, he would be seeing three alis in there by the time ali had been in there with him for a very short time and began to read him like a book and taking him apart.

Thanks for your concern, but I'm sure I'll survive.

Feel free to tell me why Vitali and Haye should be favoured over the Bruno that faced Tyson and Lewis pretty much in their primes?

Good punch variety, good chin, very good power.

Who have either of them beat that was better than big Frank?

I'll tell you - absolutely nobody mate. Haye wouldn't see the end of the first round, of that I'm certain.

Lewis was not even close to his prime in either physique or skill and Bruno was knocked out by both him and Tyson. Bruno boxed 10 rounders and whenever he stepped up he got knocked out. Yeah he survived McCall to win the WBC belt but it was the granite-chinned but limited McCall.

That huge muscle mass affected his stamina and he didn't have good ring IQ and adaptability.

Aren't you overrating Britain's beloved Frank Bruno just a little bit?

It wasn't Brunos muscles that tired him out as much, it was the fact that he was so nervous.

    bzzt wrong
a certain heavyweight champion suffered 11 knockdowns in ONE fight.
another heavyweight champion has suffered close to 20 knockdowns in his career.
    The list goes on.

Wlad's arsenal is grossly underestimated. His left hook is just as strong as his right. And he can uppercut as well as in his early fights and he can hook with the right too.

Still, prime Tyson catches him midrounds and TKOs him in a good close fight. I'm talking 80's Tyson though. Wlad KO's the Tyson that fought Lewis and TKO's the on that fought Holy.
