I'm down that this fight is made. I think that Jennings is going to get better and better. I think he looks better year on year. I think he's still improving. I understand why it's happened but I wish it was happening to someone else.

I hope it's a clean KO and not a beating.

For the people saying it's a joke fight etc., that's ridiculous. He just smashed out his #1 contender. After you blow up the #1 contender, you have the right to a soft one. Instead he's matched a guy ranked in the top 10 (#8 TBRB). It's a good fight to make as voluntary, and as an earned voluntary at that.

    Wlad threads are basically unreadable.

Same clade of posters, spouting the same rhetoric about Wlad over and over. Now Fury is their saviour and even the nonbrit-t.a.r.ded among them have to constantly throw his name out there. I suspect if Wilder or Stivern look especially good coming up they will suddenly get elevated to Furyesque status as well.

if wlad could tailor make an opponent to suit him, he'd come up with fury. slow, stupid, little power, little skill, absolutely no chin, huge gullible fan base.

Briggs would have been a total farce. Jennings is a legtit contender in his prime. Briggs is utter **** and he is beyond shot, close to 50 years old. A freak show.

Briggs would lose to Wlad too.

But Briggs would provide a better build up to the fight.
    - crazy press conferences, wild outbursts, better name recognition, etc.

Also, there needs to be some sort of closure.
Otherwise, what was the point of Briggs stalking Wlad for the past year??

As for Jennings, he needs more experience.
Like 4-5 more fights against taller opponents such as Fury, Wach, Ustinov, Wilder, Price, Thompson, etc.

    :deal

There's honestly nothing left for Wlad, besides a Povetkin rematch, after Stiverne/Wilder and Fury.

Kevin Johnson isn't particularly tall, but it counts as not short and good. And he looked way better than Vitali in beating him.

Even Spitka was able to drop Jennings... Didn't finish him when he had
a easy chance to do so... Spitka has a glass jaw just like Jennings!! :good

He may go down quicker than Pulev did...

Another nice undefeated scalp for Waldo's resume before...

He puts Tyson Turdy out of his Misery!! :yep

He better take the payday before Ustinov, Wach or even Price was to
upset his perfect record which would ruin his future paydays!!

Price should have always taken on tender glass jaw opponents like Jennings
, Seth Mitchell, Fraudley Harrison, etc, not durable guys like Thompson which
can take lots of punishment and fire back at Prices Glass Jaw!!! :yep
