Yes. This is the WBA we are talking about. They will put Fury into 'champion in recess' to make the cash from the Joshua-Klitschko fight. Much like they did with Rigondeaux when they wanted money from Frampton v Quigg

 

I'd take a fight, instead of a no-fight. If Fury can't box, then he may indeed be made "champion in recess" and the show could go on. If and when he's ready to come back he gets a direct shot at the title, n excuses accepted. But let's see how this shapes up.

all i see is wlad leaning out to grab povektin before he even gets into range.
i see povektin cutting the distance , trying to slip a jab and get cheated and fouled like there was no tomorrow.
i see povetkins approach as typical of a shorter man vs a bigger man. i see wlad winning using the same tactics smith used when he lost to tyson.
i see wlad winning the same way Ferguson got dq'd against mike tyson. i see wlad winning the same way broner lost to porter. you get the picture.
do you look at that performance and actually believe it is povetkin who is in the wrong? if you do , you need to delete your account.
under proper officiating , wlad would have been dq'd as early as the 4th round

 

Povetkin got thrown around like a Ragdoll because he kept charging and trying to bury his head into Wlad's chest. It was a physical fight and Povetkin wasn't strong or physical enough. So he got knocked down 4 times (once by a Jab) and roughed up.

Let's remember a referee had to stop the Fury-Chisora fight and tell Tyson to throw proper punches because he was slapping like a girl. But that was just fine with you I am sure.

I just don't see the odds makers being as ignorant as most on this forum. I see it opening pretty much pickem but all the $ will fly down on AJ, ill bet everything I've got that's not still semi bank owned on AJ by stoppage and I don't see any other possible outcome.
