Not posted a thread on here yet but i think the power of these two boys is equal if not slightly lop-sided, in favour of Vladimir. Klitchko has a 81" reach- absolutely astounding....... but Haye has a reach of 78" and is IMO faster than Chambers (not as much ring craft.... but faster) With Chambers 75" reach, complete lack of coherent power & '**** himself tactics' tonight i can now say im a believer in Haye.........well.......lets see who hits whose chin first!! No hating, just opinions (sorry i sometimes check out the general forums & those guys are professionals at hating) Cheers, Cammy :hat
Haye has about a 1 in 20 chance of beating Wlad. If he manages to land a huge hit on Wlads chin but I really cannot see it happening. Wlad will jab him all night and Haye will have to take a punch to get at Wlad to be able to hit him. Unfortunately Haye can't take a punch as powerful as Wlads and he will be knocked out. There is no way in hell Haye can outpoint Wlad. I really don't know how people think Haye will spark Wlad. Everything is stacked in favour of Wlad. I hope the fight happens. I despise Haye and it would be nice to see him eating the canvas. Might teach him some manners.
Wlad is a bonafide headhunter with straight punches. He gets confused and reserved when a guy moves his head (see Brock or Chambers fight). These guys fear his height, reach, speed and power immediately and back off. He then spends the fight establishing his range and lining them up for huge right hands. Come in on him and you can find success ala Brewster, Brock and Sanders. They are terrible fighters though and had huge success. Haye has the height, reach, speed and power to come in and out and cause damage. Haye looked terrible against Valuev. Worst then I've seen him for years. His footwork was terrible, as was his defence and punching technique. It was all a mess. Incredibly negative performance with no conviction or purpose. Running around using poor footwork and not engaging is not the sweet science. Haye needs to win me over with a dominating blow out of John Ruiz.
all about the range more like!! Sun Tzu said ''know your enemy and attack where he is weakest'' its not hard to figure wlad out. he is strongest behind his big jab so haye will have to get round that. wlad will come into this fight expecting haye to look for the right hand but besides his right hand, haye has a great left hook so I say haye should fain left jab, go under and throw right to the body and then come back with a left hook to the head because if he tries too hard to land that right hand straight in, he will get caught by wlads right hand or maybe even stepping into one of wlads jabs will be enough to wobble his legs instantly!!
Really, i thought his footwork and defence were the best ive ever seen it considering he barely got touched all night long? :think
Ive always said Haye has a shot with Wlad,he can get close and land shots with little fear of Wlad throwing a right hand thats going to land.He will be out and quick against Vittali, same way Hide was.
How the **** can an "undisputed" champion be exposed?, he is a two weight world titleist for ****s sake :-( So an 87.5% KO ratio is just average power?...66% at HW, and the only man to seriously rock the beast?? I agree about his defence, but where is the evidence, other than one fight 6 years ago, regarding his lack of durability?
Idiot. 1 in 20 chance?!! I think the bookmakers and anyone not filled with hate would see his chances as much better than that. atsch
David Haye comes to fight! He did what he had to do to beat valuev but I don't see him fighting scared against the klitschko's. If he's going down he's gonna go swinging!
I'm not saying Haye would beat Wlad, but he's the only heavyweight out there with the tools and ambition to do it.
Nah, he was facing a slow giant who couldn't make him pay for his flaws. 90% of the time he was only avoiding an incoming jab so he could do a million things and it would appear good. He had duck feet, was going straight knee'd, crossing his feet, walking around out of position etc. His stamina was poo so he couldn't stay in position and if he did step off he was too tired to land in position to fire back. It was the worst I've seen Haye since his early fights where he was talented but technically terrible.
