    Nothing Lewis does better?
Upperuts, right hooks, over hand rights , combination punching, punch variety, fighting on the inside, kliller instinct, numerous ways to win, staying calm under fire, ability to brawl, mental strength, physical strength, aggression...

    So yeah I disagree.

Such a simplistic and flawed view.

In a fantasy match they both gotta be prime. Lewis was 2 years past any prime he had left and semi retired in the Vitali fight. Cmon you know the drill.

I'm starting to remember how bad the general can be in here.

Disappointing reply tbh but you got humour.
You're mistaken btw, I like Wlad. He's just not good enough to beat Lewis.

Wlad's basic fundamentals are better, true, his right hand and left hook were frickin text book.

But show me a good Wlad uppercut. His uppercut is an arm punch, thrown from too far out as well. He hit a hurt Joshua cleanly with it and it did nothing.

Show me Wlad counter punching? That's one of the biggest flaws in his game, his inability to transition between defence and offence effectively.

Show me Wlad moving laterally in an effective manner to control distance. And I don't mean just skipping to the side now and again when along the ropes, anyone can do that christ I've seen Gerald Washington do that and he has 2 left feet. I'm talking about constantly turning an opponent, pivoting off to the side after a punch and continually changing lines of attack forcing opponents to re-set. Lewis could do it, Vitali could do it even better than Lewis, Wlad can't. He uses quick feet to create distance but backs up in straight lines, it's why he's forced to clinch way more than Lewis and Vitali he can't control range as well because of it.

Good basic technique is important and it can decide fights but technique isn't everything. Look as Tyson Fury, his technique is sloppy, worse than Lewis, even worse than Vitali's and far, far worse than Wlad's. But that better technique didn't help him beat Fury. Having perfect form is great if you can deliver your punches and Wlad lack of better movement, inside game and counter punching meant is superior technique counted for nothing against Fury, who while sloppy has great movement laterally.

Ohhh did I disappoint with that reply?? Well that just puts a damper on things! :(

    Lol :wanker

Funny how you think it's ok to completely dismiss prime Klitschko in this fight when your boy was put to sleep by two lesser fighters. Lewis' own coach Emanuel Steward said Wladimir was the most talented HW he ever worked with. But 5% huh?! Lol

    Ok guy:eaea:

Actually I kept it simple because the thread already covers a lot of bases. Didn't want to become repetitive rehashing the same stuff as nauseum.
I didn't know Lewis was semi retired either going into the fight from what I recall he was aging "like a fine wine"
Anyway I'll pick Wlad stylistically I favor him in the matchup. Some will agree some won't and nobody really knows the answer

you can recall what you want , but no man on earth is prime in cardio sport at 38, nor ever has been, nor ever will be.

Except allegedly for the one instance when Lewis ripped Vitalis face off insiude half the distane.

Amazing that you still advance your case against the whole of human history, but kudos for your blind zeal at least.

    Fair enough.

Edit: Btw everyone knows Lennox was semi retired and partying hard for a year after Tyson.
    Just saying....

I refer you to WK's last fight. Danced like Ali with lateral movement a plenty. Was throwing bad ass hooks and heavy right hands. Should have won as we all know. A prime version would have.

Sorry mate. Post is shite. It's silly. My points are in my earlier posts about the fight.

Yep Manny said something along those lines while 'under Wlads employment'. I can also confirm Manny said 'Lennox Lewis was his most complete hw'. "I just had to tell him something and he'd go out and do it" He also said this while employed by Wlad.

lets have a look at this post -

"should have won as we all know" which basically says wlad won it.

"a prime version would have" which basically says wlad LOST it.

Theres not even consistency in single posts you make!
