A lot of people still hate Dempsey because of the whole trans business being used to his advantage. "Jack," as some of us know, used to be "Jacqueline" Dempsey. He used his womanly speed of hand and foot, and the feminine catlike reflexes to outmaneuver other and bigger menfolk of non-colour. This contentious debate about the obvious physical advantages of the female in sport is as old as time and sin, as the scriptures tell. But I do believe the lack of upper-body strength could be a problem for him in this one, in the clinch.
