How they would have improved with modern training methods we don't know but I'd bet my bottom dollar that the versions you idolised would get decapitated by the likes of Lewis and Wlad.

Now, whether you think these super heavyweights should be allowed to fight against guys they outweigh by 20lbs is another question

Some guys simply not understand boxing. I have 1 question. If its so easy, why in the blue hell, there is no 5 or 6 other boxer with a record like Wladimir ?
How when non american become the King of boxing, the era suddenly become weak?
How many previous guys are gone 11 years unbeaten run ? 17 consecutive title defences?
How many have Wladimir record?
How many exactly past champion took on the best infront of them ? In their opponent prime? And fight against the number 1 ranked contender?
As far as i remember Wlad is the only 1 after Ali to do this.
And lose is a lose, no matter if its your prime or not. No matter if you take rematch or not. Lose stand in your record forever. You simply cant erase it.
And you can always excuse someone lose by saying he was not in his prime.
And Klitschko was never KOED, he was TKOED.
Everyone have bad nights and lose, when he take someone lightly and underestimated him, or its not fully prepared.
And 1 of his lose was due to outpunched himself. Against Brewster was strange as hell, no matter what everyone say. He lose to Sanders, thats great, thats only make him stronger, change his whole team and become the monster he is today.

And guess what in my country - Bulgaria, even before Pulev fight, everyone knows who the Klitschkos brother was. Everyone associate them with domination on the HW boxing and how smart they are.
And i become a huge fan of boxing because of guys like Lewis and Klitschkos brother.
Wlad is a class in and outside of the ring and anyone who not acknowledge this is pure hater.
