I asked you who are these past greats you were in need of these modern training methods you speak of? Can you answer the question or not?

If a SHW division was created , you'd have the same 3-4 guys facing each other year in/year out.

What's up with the Haye love fest on this forum....I watched him in a fight with Wladimir and he stunk up the joint....He gets nothing from me.

Its only an insult to uneducated Americans who dont know boxing history. The rest of the world recognise him as an ATG and Rightfully so.

    If future historians ask:

Who was the greatest HW for the decade from mid 2005 till mid 2015 ?

What would be the correct answer, Herol ?

Would there be dozens or just one ?:yep

Wlad is either completely overrated, or completely overlooked. I tend to tread on the middle ground. The guy has not fought any atgs, or hofers, but he completely dominated his division for how long now? He's fought his fair share of elite guys, and how anyone could rate Barrera over Wlad as an atg is just a mystery to me. Barrera's only true "hof" caliber win is Morales. Hamed was a hypejob, I rate Haye higher than him, Ayala was old and shot, Kevin Kelly lost to Bobby fking Pacquiao LOL. Tapia was an elite win, but is Tapia a better name than Byrd? I don't know. Wlad's dominance in his division for the amount of time makes him clearly much higher ranked than Barrera.

what's the definition of ATG? Klitchko has dominated heavyweight division like few have before him. He's incredibly athletic and skilled for his size. He has incredible power and good speed. It's not the guy's fault that his opposition has failed miserably to challenge him. We can say the same about Floyd, he hasn't really beaten any greats has he?

Here's the deal, EVERYONE in this forum claiming Wlad is not a great would think REALLY REALLY REALLY HARD before betting against him if he faced past greats. Put Ali, Foreman, Tyson, Frazier, Marciano in their primes in front of him and everyone in this forum would probably be terrified to bet all their money on any of these greats, over Wlad. Times change, this dude is like a futuristic super heavyweight, almost a different division. Wlad vs Ali is akin to Golovkin vs Lomachenko. The latter is more skilled but would prob get killed by Gannady.

My Thoughts as well. People seem to forget that most records are fairly padded. Klischko has taken on pretty much everyone. The big disappointment to me, though, was the Povetkin fight. Just pathetic not only the way he clinched, but was allowed to.

I'd easily put money on Ali or Tyson in their prime against Wlad. Frazier and Marciano hell no. Wlad would stop them both.

Not considering Wlad an ATG is denying reality.

would you put money on Lomachenko (featherweight) vs Gannady? It's the same as Ali vs Wlad, Wlad too big. Lomachenko is much more skilled than Gannady but Golovkin would probably kill him, literally.

Ali was more skilled but how much did prime Ali weight? 215 lbs? probably even lighter when he was younger... Klitscko has 30 lbs on him! it's like a featherweight vs a middleweight.

you say you would bet easily on Ali, but thats' just talk. When you realize the size difference, you would bet ion wlad.

lmfao what the ****, did you really just compare loma/gennady, to ali/wlad? I didn't read past there sorry, come back if you want to have a serious argument. you do realize that Foreman was like over 260 pounds right? :rofl

    It's a good comparison:

    Lomachecko: 126 lbs, highly skilled
Gannady: 160 lbs, much stronger but not nearly as skilled

    Ali: 215 lbs
    Wlad: 245 lbs

it's a decent comparison in skills and size, a good ****ogy. Sometimes, being more skilled simply isn't enough to beat someone who is so much bigger and stronger. Wlad is a solid 245 lbs...

WRONG... prime Foremand, when he faced ali, was around 225! FAT OLD foremand was prob 260 but fat Wlad would prob be 280! Wlad is an animal, at 245 he's ripped... he can easily make 260
