Let's discuss Roberto Duran Vs. Esteban de Jesus. Duran, the great lightweight champion in boxing history. Seems like you are spending a lot of time running the Klitschkos down for someone who is not interested in the heavyweight division.

And Holmes Vs. Cobb?! What an exciting fight! LOL! You can watch it but I am not interested. How about Jimmy Young? Exciting? Yeah.

If Renaldo Snipes can land the big right hand from left field, can you imagine what Vitali or Vlad would have done to him?

I never claimed that. I said that 2 records are comparable thus to compare Ali and Wlad (or anyone else) _IS_ possible.

I never claimed that. Quite often the smaller man wins. What I stated is that whole-record-wise intangibles _WLL_ manifest themselves. Thus we can concentrate on analyzing records and need not to consider intangibles.

A good example would be Ali's clairvoyance. I don't care whether he was foreseeing fights in his dreams or not. If he had such an ability then it manifests itself as WINNING.

Yes, sure. If I am asked to make a prediction I of course will analyze the past performances of the boxers against exactly that kind of opponent. Which is still better than claiming "Pre-Prison Tyson would walk through Vitali" without any proof whatsoever.

KNN - You just need to stop talking about boxing period. BOXREC stats isn't a good source to assume things.

How can you claim I only consider KOratios when in the same post you quote I consider Marciano as overrated?

Again a post of mine that you did not properly read.

And, wow, you know where the smiley box is. Good for you.

Yeah, especially not, if factual records disprove some mythical opinions.

Look, let me help you out. Instead of looking at boxrec, try going on youtube and watching fights.

Fighters of today are better than the fighters of yesterday. Fighters of tomorrow will be better than the fighters of today. That's how it works. It is called evolution.

It does not depend on our wishes. That's nature. Sooner you accept those natural laws, the better. If you still want to dream about your lost young years, it is KO with me but those are not coming back. You cannot turn back time so that you better live today than dreaming about your younger years.

Frazier and Liston are not matchable because such tiny and/or featherfisted guys don't exist anymore in the heavyweight division.

Patterson was a good cruiser win for Ali.

Norton lost against Ali, Foreman, Holmes, Cooney, Shavers (= the better opponents). He was never champ. His record against somewhat good natural heavies is 5-5.

I am not too impressed by your list, except the biggest win, Foreman, who was possibly drugged.

I watched all of Ali's fights.

BOOOORING (most of them), unless you find clinching, no-KOing and insulting entertaining.

Hey, wait a sec, you _DO_ find insulting entertaining.
