Jimmy Young? 7 KOs in his entire heavyweight career, of which 4 were against bums. Record of 34-19. Wait, a sec, when was the last time Klitschko fought against such a loser? Hmm, must have been Steve Pannell (who?) 34-12, except that Steve has a better record and approx 3 times more KOs than Young. Thus the correct answer is: Wlad has never fought against such a loser. That Foreman and Ali had their problems with Young merely shows that he has good defense/chin and how limited they are (or maybe in the case of Foreman, that the poison of the Ali fight was still weakening him, because Foreman claimed that it took him years to recover). Can you imagine me quoting "Klitschko vs Pannell" as a proof of how exciting Wlad fights? Wow, I touched the holy grail "Jimmy Young". And spare me some "He was mismanaged" myth.

This is a fair point. If Norton on a fair card beat Ali two out of three times, other fighters could beat Ali too, including the Klitschko's. There is talk that the prime Ali from 1964-1967 was the best ever. Maybe so, but would Vitlai our Wlad really lose 4 round to a small Doug Jones, nealry gets Ko'd by a small Henry Cooper, and have fits vs a smal eruo cursier weight in Mildenberg?
With moronic statements like that you can tell that you're a splitarse...the above is one of the most ******ed statements that I have ever seen on here, and with all the *******s and you klitLickers knocking about that really is saying something. :finger5
Well Ali didn't have nutritionists, a team of staff working for him, the best sparing partners, the best equipment, the best accomidation, and Ali couldn't dedicate his life to boxing, so i do think Ali would loose to Wlad. Also Ali invented the circle around your opponent to get away from the strong hand "dance" Wlad has been able to refine his style by watching great boxers over the years and copying their styles to improve his. if Ali and Wlad had the same training and conditions and were fighting in the same era Ali would win.

WBA is a legit organization and there is no reason to take world titles away from Joe Louis or Marciano. I use http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/7b/BoxChamps.png as valid organizations and as far as I know these are accepted by HBO as valid world title fights organisators. "Titles fights won" is a valid stat. BUT: There are loads of boxers with the same number of titles (e.g. 2x won). Thus you need some more stats. For example KOs in world titles. You also should wipe off tomato cans off the record (like Joe Louis vs Roper, "bum of the month"), otherwise Eric Esch could qualify as ATG. Once you delete bums off the record you get something like the following: Eric Esch: 5-2-1 Sam Langford: 13-17-7 (all these fights against the same 6 guys. yes 300+ fights and he boxed only 6 worthy 200+ opponents). Liston: 4-2 (wooow, an ATG heavyweight!) Marciano: 2-0 (Klitschko... ruuuun) Joe Louis: 10-0 Frazier: 8-4 Tyson: 21-6 (THAT's an ATG) Ali: 22-4 (THAT's an ATG) Foreman: 18-4 Archie Moore: 5-1 Vitali Klitschko: 14-2 LaMar Clark: 0-2 You will not find many more fighters with such great records like 20+ wins against good opposition, except for the usual suspects, like Lennox, Klitschko etc... Theoretically you could do some more adjustments like ignoring decision wins/losses in 4-rounders, honoring the ROUND of the KO, age of the opponent, ignoring whether it's a title fight etc...
Any one who thinks wlad is better then ali needs to actualy go and watch ali's fights and then stop writing rubbish atsch who has wlad fought ? seriously look at his resume and then look at ali's, its not even close plus ali could do a few things far superior to waldo. He moved better was way faster could wrestle and clinch better Could throw any punch from any angle Way better stamina can you imagine wlad in a tuff 15 round fight atsch Oh and i forgot he could take a punch:yep Please name me one fighter on wlads resume that would beat a prime ali the only advantage wlad has is a 1 inch reach :deal
I watched his fights. Not impressed. Yeah, like having no defense. He had to, his only defense (except excessive clinching). and weaker. You forgot "he insulted better". Maybe this is the reason of his low KOratio. 1) Pure speculation. 2) Moreover what do you call a tough 15 rounder? A fight with a half-blind dwarf (5'11''+ Frazier with eye cataract). 3) Moreover you mention it as if it's a virtue whereas it's a lack of punch power. Foreman never went 15 rounds. As is acknowledged by Mr. Parkinson. Pure speculation. Yeah, and a harder punch, and size, and weight and greater heavyweight experience.
While Ali is not my GOAT pick that goes to Sugar Ray Robinson, I still say he gives Klit a schooling. Ali would dance round him all night keeping Klit turning and off balance to a late round stoppage.
