i just cant believe wlad is risking the fight with haye coz he wants to stay active....he only wants a 7 month layoff at most, instead of 9.......

if he was true to his word and his trash talk about how badly he wants haye why would he not want to wait an extra 8 weeks to get the haye fight made

Because he's the Champ, in his prime, and if he doesn't want to wait 10-months between fights, he shouldn't have to.

I know you keep saying "Why doesn't Wlad just wait?", "Why risk the fight?"

But that does not change the fact that if Haye would have just agreed, he would be at worst case scenario, no worse off than he is by not agreeing. Haye should have just agreed, that's the bottom line as I see it.

well heres how i see it

    1. haye agrees to 50/50 despite putting more money in the pot: thats right coz wlad IS the champ.
    2. Haye agrees to fight in germany
    3. haye agrees the idiotic tv broadcasting deal fiasco
    4. haye and wlad both agree on 2nd july

then wlad turns around and says **** it. i know your retiring in october david. but i dont want a 10 month lay off. i wanna fight chisora 8 weeks before fighting you. NO BOXER would agree to that! why would they?! haye vs wlad is the fight they are negotiating. ive never heard anything like this before where a fight is scheduled just 8 weeks before the main event? 8 weeks man. come off it.

If i was haye i would say ''excuse me?!?. r u ****ing serious?! you wanna schedule chisora 8 weeks before our fight? **** off then. your clearly not serious about our fight''

and you know and i know every boxer out there would say that.

tell me when have you EVER heard of a mega fight having a tune up 8 weeks before the event??!?!

I thought unification fights beats out interim fights? Isn't that the rule in the organization bodies? I smell bs

It's not just TV, it's the venue.

Wlad-Haye needs a stadium, while Wlad-Chisora can be in a smaller arena, such as SAP.

Wladimir wants to go all out on Haye. No inactivity and nothing. Haye will have the disadvantage.

Again so how is Wlad ducking to fight Haye if he agree to fight him in july? Whats wrong with a tune up fight vs Chisora? If Chisora is a bum and blah, blah, blah then Wlad vs Chisora should be like Wlad vs Austin in which Wlad won't get injured and then he'll be ready for the july showdown with Haye.

Again, I don't know how to make this any clearer.

If Haye had agreed, the WORST CASE SCENARIO for him, is that he would be left with the situation he is in right now: Having to face his mandatory.

The Klitschko side said it was okay for Haye to take an interim fight. Why should Haye care if Wlad takes an interim fight?
