He wasn't that bad. I mean he's got a technically wonderful jab...but nothing at mid range, right? He's either jabbing or clinching.

That fight was boring. Props to Wlad for giving a good effort though. He turned it on in the end and got the stoppage.

As a lifelong fan of heavyweight boxing, I can say with sadness that the division is dying. What a terrible fight.

he put on a decent performance against a top ten heavy... he knocked him out and dominated each round

I don't see a problem with Klitschko. Thompson was covering up throughout the fight, so no matter what Wlad did, he was going to look poor. He had a great chin and didn't want to fight. All he was doing was covering up. Same with Ibragimov, who didn't want to fight. How do you look good against someone who has no desire to win a fight? Just constantly tee-off against the guys arms? Rubbish. Klitschko fought smart and put in a good performance against a fighter who was outclassed and knew it.

Sure, Klitschko held a few times but it's not a big deal. To compare him to Ruiz is unfair. He has so many other attributes to his game and is certainly a step above in terms of class. Aside from that, I don't even think Klitschko is boring anyway.

we are. and haters are still haters. Wlad did not clinche that much. TT clinched as much as he did. Wlad dominated the fight and knocked his opponent out. if you don't like him fine, but at least come up with a better argument than he's John Ruiz.

Thompson was just an awkward guy to fight.

so u think that cruiserwights can put haye on his a$$ but not wlad...

the 90's boxer is way overrated a 6'6 240 wlad could easily be a top 2 or 3 boxer in the 90's..

but of course regardless what wlad did tonight u all was going to hate wlad anyways

Let's be real, Klit helped to stink up the joint. He was holding way too much. He turned it on towards the end though.
