Wlad Klitschko: Undisputed King of Comedy

Quit pretending that there is a right and wrong answer to this joke. Wlad's a funny guy - his comedy is very sophisticated and works on more levels than just the one you operate on, you imbecile.

Sure, to late on the bandwagon fans like you this may seem a stupid throwaway joke. But to his longer term REAL fans like me it's a hilarious, well thought out and accurate metaphor for how Haye's face will look.

Damn, I hate deconstructing comedy like this, but i'll do it one time for your benefit. Listen closely:

Wladdy said he'll give Haye a 'pizza face' rofl) - the base will be Gaye's mixed race skin, the tomato sauce will be Haye's blood from the cuts Wladdy inflicts, the cheese will be the snot, boogers and vaseline that his fist smears all over Gayvid's face. Do you get it now?

Perhaps next time you won't be so quick to dismiss Wlad's jokes as some ill thought out, throw away quip, and will give them the credit they deserv

I don't mind the whole Pizza thing.

What makes me cringe is when they say 'Chew Chew'. That just makes me feel embarrassed for them it's that bad. I literally get a horrible shudder whenever I read that.

 

Unfortunately for Haye, Wlad was dead serious about Pizza Face. So, it is not a joke. The joke is how Haye fans react to it.

 

I know EXACTLY what you're saying. The Gaye fans don't understand Wlad's pizza face (lol) joke and get a hurt butt about it. It's sad, apparently they don't have a sense of humour on the Shittish Isles.

Reasons why it's funny: 1) It's a childish joke to call someone with acne a "pizza face," so I think a lot of us think about a grown man whose fourth language is English saying it unaware of how ridiculous it sounds as he has a completely different idea of it (his original idea of hammering someone's face into something that resembles an abused pizza), 2) Wlad delivered the pizza face promise with such seriousness that it's difficult not to laugh when you watch the video of him, 3) He's an all-around nice, goofy guy who doesn't really care to be some major-league ****-talking *******, but scored with a line that has become synonymous among hardcore boxing fans with the Klitschko-Haye showdown. You think about this fight and you think about long delays, silly tee-shirts and pizza face.

If Wlad's pizza face promise never made you laugh to yourself or even smile a little bit, you're trying too hard to hate him.
