This would be a boxing match not a slugfest. Both decorated olympians, who wins this fight (pre Bowe Gonzalez).

Wlad would put Gonzales in a coma..a very bad matchup for the Cuban.

This is one I think Wlad would win.

I would have to edge with Wlad, just by how his career has gone compared to Gonzalez.
Saying that though how far could Gonzalez have gone in this weakest of era's.
Wlad is the better technician for me, has the better jab which would be key and can undoubtedly stick to a gameplan. But with Gonzalez's size and skills (which he had), he could undoubtedly give Klitschko fits.
The question is who would be the first to fold out of these giants, who both cave in when they whiskers get stroked. Wlad more so.
To be fair Wlad is the better man i feel and is the mentally stronger, at least when not under-pressure. A front runner if you will.
Interesting match-up though, because Wlad doesn't really fight men his own size and we seen what happened when Gonzalez fought Bowe.
Wlad definitley favourite but you couldn't be sure how he'd handle Gonzalez.

Considering Gonzalez wasn't any good, and that Wladimir is actually great, the obvious outcome is a brutal knockout in Wlad's favour.

Timber... C'mon, either K-brother would walk right through the clustered "Gonzo" Gonzalez from Cuba.... See Gonzalez' fights with "Bowe & Spoon" for results....

Wlad would beat the **** out of Jorge and stop him late in a cookie cutter Wlad Klitschko performance.

Yes but would Wlad be offensive enough to take Gonzalez out his rhythem. Gonzalez was somewhat similar to Wlad, he didnt like pressure but he could box pretty good from the outside.

Wlad would be hurt badly as soon as Gonzalez decides to throw a punch.

Wlad via KO, perhaps early. Gonzalez was big, but not very defense and somewhat slow.

Gonzalez amateur talent did not translate into his pro career. Wlad-Gonzales would be a replay of Wlad-Wolfgramm (pro rematch of their respective Olympic final). Wlad KO1

  13. Wlad Klitschko by the late KO in a bit of a chesmatch ,
controlled by wlad all the way

Wlad boxes from the outside better, and had the better tools and gifts. Wouldn't matter if he was aggressive, Gonzalez wouldn't find a rhythm at all off of that jab.

    RIDICULOUS.

Wlad would knock that pansy out faster than Bowe did. I guess you forgot Wlad vs. Ray Austin, who's listed at 6 ft. 6 in. or Tony Thompson who's listed even taller. It's not a close back & forth war, it's a murder.
