    uh, Holmes fought in an era just as weak as this one if not weaker. Look at his title defenses.

    Wlad has never been close to being outpointed and Holmes has never faced an athlete like Wlad. Wlad lost twice because he gassed, if that happened against Holmes, he would obviously lose as well. Butn if we are talking about Wlad on his best night, he wins. The one fighter who beat Wlad purely with his own ability, was Sanders, a comletely different fighter than Holmes. Against a 6'6 fighter with a ramrod jab of his own, Holmes' jab would be far less effective.

    I think Holmes would have more trouble with Vitali. Wlad has no heart. He just buckles under pressure. We are not talking about these out of shape one dimensional fighters that Wlad has been facing. Wlad's advantages is his height, reach and power. But Holmes would not be getting hit a whole lot unless its a small ring. That statue figure fighting wont work on that level of comp. Holmes can fight backing up and he damn for sure has enough power to hurt Wlad and he would not need to KO him with one punch. Holmes had a sneaky right hand and a good jab and left hook to the body. Holmes would get at that body and use the jab, movement and countering until he sees an opening. It would not be a cake walk of course but Holmes would beat Wlad. Vitali is another story. Vitali is more of a natural fighter than Wlad in which if a fight broke out Vitali dont back down and he is a very smart fighter and he has a good chin and knows it.

    That is a pure clown ass comment. :rofl At least Holmes had great fighters on their way out to add to his resume. Vitali LOST to the last of the mohicans on his way out. Go figure.

    nah I don't think so

    Cooney, Weaver, Norton would have spanked the Klitschkos anytime, anywhere.

    Both Holmes and Wlad have good jabs, but I think Holmes was way more mobile, and versatile. Holmes would be able to set the pace and take Wlad out of his comfort zone. Larry Holmes was not like the fighters of today, who stand right in front of Wlad and eat jabs hoping to get a lucky big shot it. Holmes worked for his wins. Holmes would be moving, slipping and pumping that jab. When Wlad is out of his comfort zone, he usually looks bad and panicky, and with a great fighter like Holmes he'll probably fold.

    It would be a good fight, and will not be easy; but, I pick Holmes by eventual KO.

    Wlad kep getting up from knockdowns against Sanders, he kept trying against Brewster when hiw face turned blue and his metabolism was obviously off, he got up from rabbit punch knockdowns against Peter, without complaining to the ref and kept beating him...when has Wlad shown a lack of heart? Lack of aggression against Iggy and a few other fights, OK, but that is NOT the same as lack of heart.

    Homes better be more mobile, he is significanlty shorter...for his size, Wlad has all the mobility he needs. Nobody ever used boxing skills to beat Wlad.

    Are you talking about Norton? Lewis was part of the PREVIOUS era. I am talking about the current era of Heavyweight's POST Lennox Lewis.

    Holmes era was very weak indeed. Look at some of his title defenses:

    Lucien Rodriquez
    Scott Frank
    Marvis Frazier
    Randall "Tex" Cobb
    Leroy Jones
    Scott LeDoux
    Lorenzo Zanon

    do you honestly think any of those guys listed above would be title contenders even in this weak Heavyweight era? :lol::rofl

    Not to mention all of the guys with 12-0, 15-0 etc. records that Holmes fought while Heavyweight Champion.

    Holmes suffered from the EXACT same problem that the Klitschko's are suffering from right now which is there is nobody out there to fight so they are having to fight whoever is put in front of them just like Holmes did.

    Gerry Cooney? :lol::patsch:rofl

    Weaver? :lol::rofl:patsch

    Norton is debatable but it is a bad style match up for him and his Chin was not that good. Hell, none of the guys you listed had a good Chin something you have to have to beat either Klitschko.

    Holmes fought in an era of Ken Norton, Witherspoon, Ali and Tyson. Tyson alone would have been feared by both Clit Sisters.

    :lol: Do you really want to bring up the Peter fight. That fight, if any, exposed his lack of heart and toughness. They were not ****ing "rabbit punches" do you know why??? when you turn your back on your opponent its not his fault if the punch goes behind the head. Wlad was hiding behind the ****ing Ref in that fight and those knockdowns were ****ing legit and it was the most ***** ass exhibition of fighting that I have ever seen. He didnt complain to the ref?????? You ****ing guys are hilarious.
