i think wlad vs jones from the ruiz fight would go to a decision, clear one for wlad.yes wlad could end the fight at any time if he lands one good punch, but roy jones was very slick and had inhuman reflexes, add to that that wlad is overly cautious, and i see this ala haye fight, boring fight which wlad would win with his jab

i think wlad has no chance against bowe,he's pressure and inside attack would be too much for wlad, plus he has a very good chin,so he can take wlad punches coming in,and i don't see how would wlad survive bowe's inside punches

    your thoughts?

Wlad KO Roy and Vlad break down Bowe, prime for Prime, Bowe got hit too much and the present Vlad very tight defensively....I think the fight goes into later rounds and Bowe becomes easier to hit, Vlad drops Bowe and staggers Bowe and the ref decides he has been hit too much.

Then I think Wlad would have beaten both.

I agree with your opinion concerning Bowe, who had
a great jab as well. As far as Roy, I believe Wlad
stops him late. Wlad only needs to land one flush
right hand or left hook and Roy is done. Roy didn't
Have the crazy skills at HW like he did at 160/168,
hes bound to make one mistake. Wlad is way too
big strong and talented. Wlad KO 7 Jones.
Big Daddy puts the hurt on Wlad Bowe KO 6.

I can see RJJ/Volo going Hayeishly, but I can also see RJJ getting stopped. Basically he had lost a step even by Ruiz. He looked "good" with Ruiz by RJJ standards, not great. And that was Ruiz.

Bowe could be hurt regularly, but his ability to fight through it, even on jelly legs for minutes at a time, still being effective even at his most vulnerable is what makes me think with his size and skill, he lands, takes what comes back at him and gets inside to do damage anyway. Then again, facing a truly high quality, prime puncher of similar size to himself in the pros is a big question mark, just like it would be with post-Steward Volo. I'd have to favour Bowe.

Bowe just straight up destroys The Russian Robot..Roy Jones most likely's gonna be way outa his league Size wize, But I believe he woulda out smarted Wlad, dropped combos with that fast in and out movement Roy finds a way to drag it to a decision in his favor.

Wlad, even being tentative and too cautious, accidentally KO's Jones at some point. Probably later in the fight after he's established himself as the boss.

No way does Wlad get suckered into an inside scrap with Bowe. Wlad is too good at maintaining distance and keeping the fight on his terms. I don't think Bowe has the wheels to close the gap. Wlad slowly jabs and right hands the fight out of Bowe. Wlad wins a decision.

You've admitted that you don't watch his fights... Admittedly you know nothing about him, his style, or his effectiveness.

And no, I don't have any delusions about Wlad. I'm honest about what I think are his limitations. It took you like 12 pages of literally everyone picking Whitaker for you to finally get a clue that Manny may not win that one... Hahahaha

Reasonable, but Bowe had a formidable jab and outside
game. Wlad might have a better jab, but Bowe scores
with his jab and connects with the uppercut when
Wlad clinches. Bowe might get stunned, but he eventually
walks Wlad down and pummels him. Wlad likes fighters
to find his jab demoralizing and become passive, a
focused Bowe would not be deterred or stopped.
the borderline antitechnique of Bowes overhand
right might help him againt savvy defense of Wlad.

I can see Bowe giving some real trouble any time they clinch or get close, but like I said, I think Wlad is gonna do his damnedest to stay the hell away from Bowe and keep it a battle of jabs, which he wins.

I wouldn't have much trouble seeing Bowe win. I'm not totally married to the idea of Wlad winning.
