Wlad had that pole-like jab while VLAD just used poles to……. Well I’ll let you use your imagination. So who takes this one ? Dr. Steel hammer or the one true Dracula ?
I thought they were one in the same. Actually always thought that was a better nickname for Wlad than Dr Steel Hammer. Can you picture Buffer Wlad “the impaler” Klitschkoooo
Are we talking street fight? Or sanctioned boxing match?? On the street or battlefield with his big bros mean streak… it wouldn’t even be a contest. But I’d say 50/50 in reality. The Impaler would be armed and experienced in combat. But a bare fisted Wlad right hand… *shivers*
I reckon VLAD's scorched earth tactics would overwhelm WLAD. Although, I think he'd have trouble sourcing a tree branch strong enough to finish the job, completely. VLAD W UD - over however many rounds (pitched battles) it took.
The wicked Impaler would like cheat and win on cuts, if the action took place in his day. That's all I say.
Vlad’s resume is incredible. Reports are that he defeated 80,000 people, many of them powerful and vicious warriors…so a record of 80,000-1 is pretty Damn good. Plus he had a 5 year layoff where he was apparently imprisoned and tortured, but he returned from this minor setback morr powerful than ever. There’s no way Wlad is winning this one, especially with what some describe as his lack of appetite for a war… …Vlad by 3rd round destruction.
80000 cart-pushers, rickshaw drivers and peasants. Some of their footwork was so poor you'd think they had sticks up their arse. Meanwhile WLAD is basically a giant compared to their weightclass.
https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/vlad-the-impaler-as-a-historical-figure.722928/ Vlad the Impaler was a Vlach Prince, and a far more important role in the history of his era than Wladimir Klitschko in his historical period.
One of the most brutal sadists in history is a good nickname for a safety-obsessed jab & grabber? Dr. Octopus is what fits. About the only think Klitschko & Dracula had in common was they were both fighting defensively.
I see your point if you want to factor in their styles but truth is his name and being a heavyweight with massive power the name would have had appeal. Much more so than the one he went with.
