Agreed, though I would only say two of those losses came in his prime against Brewster and Sanders, who were both Journeymen before bouncing Wlad off the canvas. Puritty was a club fighter, who had almost had as many losses as he did wins at the time. Sakura- Tyson was nearly 17 years removed from his prime against Mcbride, if that fight happend just a couple years before, McBride would of been knocked out in the first round like Eitenne was in 03.
Brewster didn't bounce **** off the canvas, Wlad was given a standing 8 count because the ref thought the ropes had held him up.
The poster of the thread is obviously trolling. I´m a Wlad fan but I think the odds are grossly against a prime Wlad vs a prime Tyson. It´s not impossible for Wlad to win, since a prime Tyson was taken the distance by Mitch Green, Bonecrusher Smith and Tony Tucker, but most likely Tyson would KO Wlad cold.
I never wanted to answer this post because I thought it was the craziest piece of bull**** I could read... Just seeing the title made me smile everytime. Dude, prime for prime, Tyson murders the Giant Klit. If you don't know that, then you are inbred.
Fair enough, but most agree that Wlad was saved in a sense by the ref, the standing 8 gave Wlad at least 15 or so seconds to try and recover from the beating Brewster was giving him. Wlad did fall at the end of the round, but it was after the bell.
Tyson was shot...Mcbride fight was 3 years later than Lewis fight... Purrity record, before wlad fight was lost Byrd, Sanders,Grant, Rahman, Draw Morrison, Johnson and couple not so good fighters.
So now Wlad at the age 27 and 28 with over 40 fights under his belt wasn't in in his Prime when he fought Brewster and Sanders? Get the **** out of here.
Yes, he 27 or 28, had over 40 pro fights and had beaten chris Turd for the Wbogus strap. He was not green so how was he not in his prime?
You should know that bigger dude's come mature little late. Lewis was in his prime around 35 years old. If wlad wil lost his last fights around 4 years, i admit i was wrong..
Wlad was green for the loss to Purrity but prime, or very close to it, for the losses to Sanders and Brewster. This content is protected This content is protected
Lewis's prime, roughly, was around 1995 to 2000. His physical prime didn't coincide when he was the most formidable as a fighter. His balance was poor before Steward.
