Byrd/Williamson was one of the worst HW fights of all time... Hypocrite.

What has it to do with Klitschko ? Both Byrd and TOS didn´t use those illegal tactics to destroy a fight. They probably had a non-aggression pact, cause they were friends and they both got paid peanuts for that fight. Klitschko has the skills to destroy his opponents, instead he opts to destroy any kind of fight.

If any part of Wlad's arsenal is ATG, it is even more pathetic he has to cheat so wildly to beat very poor opposition.

Who cares if he has one good punch, his biggest weapons are holding, leaning, forearms and pushing. The man is a fraud.

Wlad does what he has to do to win. I would like him to be mroe offensive but he doesn't take risks when he's dominating round after round. You can criticise him for it of course but it's partly why only two men in boxing hw history have had longer reigns. He will back away or tie you up if you try and get inside him and he will use the jab very accurately. That's the basis of his style.

That innocuous looking left jab-turned-hook that turned Povetkin's legs to spaghetti in round 2 was a thing of beauty, same shot that flattened Chambers.

Definitely among the best, if not the best jab in history. That thing is frightening.

Povetkin.....34 years old with 26 total pro fights. The best he fought were a shot Byrd and a shot but never was good Rahman. The rest predominantly a host of European second raters. This was the No 1 contender? He does not know how to throw a left hook! Worst No 1 contender I have ever seen fight for the championship. Simply horrible.

Show me one bout by Ali where he mauled a fighter constantly to the canvas....a deliberate foul. Wlad has been holding his entire career since he realized his chin is made of china. He can't really engage with anyone with a punch so as soon as his opponent gets in range to hit him...he holds. Ali had a chin and body of iron...no one took a punch or punishment better than Ali nor does anyone question Alis ability to fight.....his warrior mentality. Wlad can't take a punch or punishment nor does he possess a fighting heart....so he holds...and holds...and holds.

That short left hook/jab to almost put Povetkin out in the second round is a punch no other fighter in history has. Guy is a beast. Povetkin has never been down in his career. Down 4 times in this fight.

Wlad's left hook is the best punch in the sport. It's a pitty he's usually too scared to let it go.

Sonny Liston's jab was not only a lot better than Wlad's pawing but he also would have busted up the big cheating hugging robot real bad.
