If Wlad fought Louis the way he fought Ibragimov I could actually see him winning the fight by quite a distance in UD 15. With one of the best jabs in the business and a huge size and reach advantage I think he could keep Louis at the end of his jab. The only opponent near Wlad's size Joe fought was Buddy Baer, who wasn't anywhere near as technically or athletically gifted as Klitschko - rather he was a power punching machine who tried trading shots with Louis. Granted, he did manage to blast Louis out through the ring ropes during the fight prior to the controversial 'after the bell' punch that ended with Baer unconscious on his back and Louis' arm being raised.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that Klitschko is "greater" than Joe, who is in the top 3 heavyweights of all time on just about anyone's list, but I think if he fought a smart fight he could edge Louis out over the distance.

Louis would knock him out. I know there is the argument that Wlad is bigger and nutrition is better etc but this is Joe Louis we're talking about.

Joe Louis had a soft chin so that is entirely possible if he gets hit. I don't think Klitschko is going to hit him. We all saw Klitschko's hesitance when Ibragimov stood in front of him waiting to counterpunch. Louis will do the same thing but he will time Klitschko's pawing jab so much better than Ibragimov.

Louis is one of the top 2 all around punchers in history. He is also one of the top finishers in history. He was a smart fighter and devoured fighters who were predictable. Wlad does the same thing over the course of an entire 12 rounder, jab, jab, jab clinch, with a right hand in there every once in a while. Klitschko does have very heavy hands and if he lands big on him early Louis would be dropped. But knocking down Louis and keeping down Louis are two seperate things.

Louis would be able to time Klitschko and I would expect an early stoppage for The Brown Bomber.

If you're smaller than Wald than most likely you'll get mug. Wald is going to hug you to death behind his jabs. I want to see how Wald does againt a big guy like Lennex or that giant Vulvue (however you spell it).

You've heard the saying " The bigger they are the harder they fall" ? Thats what would happen here. Wlad, scared of Joe's big punch fights timidly as usual backing up , But as Joe himself said " You can run but you cant hide" Joe Ko in 6

Louis KO. Wlad wouldn't want to stand and trade with Louis because of his shaky chin and he would be wary of Louis' power, so I think he would adopt a negative approach ala Ibragimov. You could make an arguement that Wlad keeps Louis at the end of his jab for the full 15 but I doubt he could do this, he would freeze and Louis steps inside a his instinctiveness, speed and power would lead to a KO.

Louis has a chance, were talking about the Brown Bomber here. But I would say:

    Wlad 75%
    Louis 25%

I don't think Wlad wants to stand and trade with anyone.
