Wlad-Leapai does 9 million viewers in Germany

I was wondering about that myself

 

Steve Cunningham did 5 million viewers vs Adamek on NBC Sports. I bet Wladimir's fight did similar numbers to that or possibly better.

I really like what ESPN is doing now. Arreola vs Stiverne will be aired May 10th and hopefully Deontay Wilder can get on ESPN as well. Great steps to keep boxing relevant

 

In Germany they would watch this boring greedy fraud if he fought a kid. Any true boxing fan that enjoyed that fight is gay or racist. Wlad has ruined heavyweight boxing. Before WLad ,Lennox was on PPV and HBO here in the usa. At least Vitali did sell one PPV here. Wlad was on damn ESPN. He is the heavyweight champion and ESPN picked up the fight at the last second. Wlad has killed boxing because he rips off German fans and wants to make easy money. His fight with Leapai was pure garbage. Leapai was just a fat tub of lard. And then Wlad claimed he will fight for the WBC belt which is total bull****. Wlad is not going to take a risky fight. Even Arreola would be better than anyone Wlad faced in his entrie career as sad as that is. Vitali took all the risky fights to protect his brothers egg chin. Wlad's fight with this bum Leapai made the sport look bad. Wlad needs to fight Pulev next. I don't think Pulev is a good fighter at all be he did earn his shot. The fact Wlad claimed he wants to fight for the WBC belt instead of Pulev is BS. But even if Pulev gets his shot Wlad will wrestle and cheat like he did against Povetkin. Pulev needs to foul Wlad back. Povetkin acted like a little Puss-y and let Wlad cheat.

ESPN is where fighters just starting out fight. Wlad has degraded Heavyweight boxing because of his illegal jab and grab style. Wow he was even holding a bum like Leapai. I hate to say it but I think Leapai was paid to take a dive. He didn't even try. There is no limit to how low Wlad will go to get set up fights. Wlad is killing boxing. Only a few stars like Pacman and Mayweather can even sell PPV's anymore.

 

To bad I haven't attempted to find out what ESPN's European numbers were for Hopkins-Shumenov or this weekend's fights.
Something tells me they far outweigh the US numbers.

Well I'm glad you enjoy **** fights like we saw Saturday. Look lets be honest. If Wlad where black you would would bash him the same way you bash Wilder. Wlad is killing the sport I have loved since I was a young kid watching Tyson fights. I was a fan of Wlad in his pre Sanders days. But after Brewster took his best shots and fired back to KO him Wlad started fighting like a scared to get it coward. It was a smart move for Wlad because non nuthuggers knows how bad Wlad's chin is.

I'm a huge Wlad fan, you know what the very first fight I saw of Wlad's was? Sanders.

I'm a fan because he faced ultimate adversity and did what he needed to do in order to get back on top. And it's now been over a DECADE since Wlad's last loss. I'm also a fan because of the way he conducts himself outside of the ring, unlike so many other athletes, he's not an idiot.

 

I couldn't give a crap what color Wilder is. In fact I was a fan of Wilder until he was 13-0 to be exact, go back far enough in my post history and you'll see. I bash him because he refused to step up and fight a live body, he's had fixed fights, he's got glass in his jaw and no defense skills. He's the classic definition of hype-job.

It's true I bash on Wilder, but I've NEVER mentioned or prefaced my comments with "black" or any other racial word, unlike you. I dislike him based on his skill and approach to the sport, you dislike boxers because of their origin....which is despicable.

I never said I enjoyed the Wlad/Leapai fight, in fact I didn't even bother to stay up to watch it live, that's the kind of devoted nuthugger I am

Take a look at the live crowd at ringside, it was awesome, something that does not appear to happen in America. The Klitschko fight in Switzerland had 65,000 fans live at ringside..........Vitali Vs. Johnson sold out at Madison Square Garden, USA, and Vitali Vs. Arreola was HBO's highest rated fight of the year..................
