Any sports fan who never watches boxing would have switched the channel when Atlas started talking, when Leapai's ridiculous ring walk chant ensued, or at the very latest in the second round of, to a non-boxing fan, torturous boredom.

U.S boxing isn't very good for boxing.

The talent emerging isn't too special, nor is the popularity of boxing in US.

Europe and Asia - boxing is huge. This fight got 9m viewers in Germany.

Not even PPV at that . The fight was free!!

There once was a time when the whole world used take notice when the HW champion stepped in the ring.

Somebody please the the titles off him.

This is only a few hundred thousand viewers less than Mayweather gets so the numbers are in fact quite good.

Article says that ESPN averages 1.4 M for that time slot.

So approx 33% of normal ratings.

Floyds fights cost 70 sheets a pop.

If Wlad charged that , he'd have ZERO views.

More viewers than Mayweather. Impressive. Americans are dying for a champion at HW hence the numbers for Cunningham. The sight of mere midgets combing each others hair just wont cut it for joe six pack in the states.
