Wlad/Lennox - Why The Hypocrisy ?

He gassed against Brewster and utterly dominated him in the rematch. He gassed and was hurt against Purritty. He was rushed and panicked against a good fighter in Sanders. People hate Wlad because he's white and he's the best.

People like to talk **** about Wlad the Impaler, so let's visit some of his strong points.

He is the most athletic SHW in history.

He as scary a jab as you will ever see.

He has good hand speed.

He is highly skilled.

His right hand is devastating.

His left hook is strong and tight.

He has great footwork.

He can box with the very best of them.

He has serious power in both hands.

He is extremely athletic.

His faults? He is a bit nutty and tends to panic when he gets into fights since Sanders. He had a gassing problem for a while, which hasn't surfaced in some time. He is psychologically fragile, but he is otherwise the complete package. No one can say his chin is glass, we simply don't know that. His mind is fragile, but what we do know of his chin is that he has only been TKO'd. He always got up. What I see in Wlad is a guy that panics too easily. He needs some rough sparring with some brutes to learn not to panic. Manny taught him to jab and throw 1-2's, this made him a devastating fighter; however, in his career before Steward, he engaged freely and let his hands go. What I notice is that most of the critics seem to have little knowledge of Wladimir's career arc. I'm guessing they never saw the young Wlad, with his crazy handspeed and awesome combination punching. He was the ultimate SHW prototype. If Wladimir had the psychology of a fighter, I think he'd be one of the greatest of all-time.
