Guess what, when Vitali and Wlad retire and all the belts become split up again, and the ring is vacant, the division will go back to 4 guys that can't bother to get in shape, fight 1-2x times a year and all avoid each other in order to milk their respective titles and make the most money. The Ring belt could very well be vacant a long time....

Maybe the division will seem more interesting, but people will be calling again for a champion as dominant as Klitscko.

What poor terms? A rematch clause. Rematch clauses are standard for champions. Do you mean the guaranteed title unification with the other brother, that would lead to a totally unified, undisputed HW champion? Do you mean the career high paydays?

The only fighters that complained about K2's terms are those that didn't want the fights because they knew they couldn't win. There are FAR more fighters to say they are fair and easy to work with.

Yes it's true a mandatory will get a bigger purse split than a voluntary. Should Wlad have offered Mormeck 70/30 or Vitali offered Chisora 60/40, when they are the ones filling the soccer stadiums and running the promotion, getting the fight broadcast in over 100 countries?
